I used to listen to these with my Dad when I was a kid.. wow.. brings back some good memories and I just love No More Blue Horizons.. Gotta be my fave song by them. Definately underrated.. I agree.
The acoustic version of Wishful Thinking is a sheer delight. I loved watching the violins (violas?) plucked away by the two lovely damsels... (at 5:50) Only having listened to the synth versions on CD, I can say these came through beautifully. Majestically! And listen to that appreciative crowd at the finale :)
Check out Ebay for the DVD just look under China Crisis Live - good DVD - poor vide quality but some really good music - this was also released on a double CD set
WWFAS was probably the prettiest "synthpop" LP of the period. What a high point for producer Mike Howlett, too. And these treatments bear out the gorgeous writing, too. I guess I'm hunting down the DVD.
I want to purchase this DVD. Would somebody have share the info on the title and where to buy? I have the Acoustically Yours CD of this since the 90s. Great great great CD!
What year was this gig recorded? Is there a DVD-CD version of it? There were a lot of time since I hadn't heard CC. It was one of my favourites band in the final 80's and now I've enjoyed again since then. Thanks for post it.
Superb!
A criminally underrated Liverpool band. So comfortable live.
Great lyrics too.

*sigh* very rare do musicians such as themselves make music like this nowadays. and if they still do, they're most needed to be discovered.
Superb, roll on December
Fool, fool, fool ... (No April Fools song and Gary and Eddie are absolute faves of mine!).
FOOL x 3 vvould not have been out of place on THE COMMITMENTS soundtrack.
