Hi amelia terrell, I wanted to crochet a flowy top. If you do not want to widen it from the bottom, you may work shells in checkers order without the increase round. Happy crochet!

The easiest way is to use a thicker yarn (interunet.com/crochet-flowy-top) or add one repeat under each arm.
