It took us like 3 days to scour through the massive amount of nuclear cooked bugs guts to find the camera footage, it was like swamping around through demon cores to find this footage, in the end.... It was totally worth it.
I saw three men mauled to death by bugs in those three days finding the footage and to say at the funeral that they died for footage is going to be awkward.
Plot twist: it was gta6
I was here as a Frontline infantry and I kept seeing these news people get mauled over and over

The camera man managed to look past their differences and befriend the bugs. How heartwarming.

The fact that this is such an effective horror story despite the Ignis fuckshit is a testament to the power of found footage/analogue horror. Also the cinematography.

I couldn’t stop laughing Ignis being Ignis, Tails and Pip trying to be serious while having body guards made this an awesome starship trooper experience. Though I love the regular nonsense I need more to watch

I like how the reporter had "press" on the back of his vest like the bugs would read it and not kill him

Could also be for the sake of the actual soldiers, to highlight that they're not combatants.

Not only is this ARMA group and Rubix hilarious, but Rubix or whomever is editing is also a genius at making it even more funny by adding edits. I can never stop myself from laughing overtly loud. That is a talent.
From 12:35 - 13:07 the footage is just raw Battlefield footage, true cinema. 9/10 not enough screams of agony.

This needs to be a continued series over multiple universes/franchises following the news crew through different games/worlds, and with full character arcs

i mean, if the bugs figured out propaganda then i suppose their gonna need a news crew of their own right. That camera man has done more then prove himself to be quite effective at his job.

I dont know why but the "As you can see.." bit at 2:25 made me think of the Armoury Gunny at the begining of Halo 2
I can imagine you would find these recordings on VHS tapes scattered across an abandoned and dead world where you can tell a war waged on this planet but now there's nothing left alive

Maybe this "intrepid reporter" spinoff idea could be something great for future videos (and not just for Starship vids). Maybe the next press representative could have a little more interesting questions, but other than that, awesome all around: editing great as always, going with all of those great moments between the soldiers!
Non ironically this is the best Starship Troopers sequel I've seen.
