I just wanted to know wether depttsuch as Production, drilling. are alloted before Interview based on GATE Score Or after the interview based on total marks obtained GATE+INTERVIEW+ GD???
@@MechanicalMakingItSimple I wanted to know , when a candidate appear for the interview, does he know for what deptt he is giving for any specific deptt. like Production, mechanical or drilling. OR after interview deptt is slloted based on total marks obtained GATE Score+Interview+GD.

They the interview of the candidate will happen for all three department or for one specific department only. Do ongc gave department specific interviews or panel gives you department as per your choices and interview performance.

very strong chances my rank was 300 in OBC(CL) , I got 14/15 in interview one of my friend with 90 rank general got 11/15 in interview so he wasn't selected but was in waiting list, after one year he got call from ongc..so interview matters a lot.

of course, my bpcl interview was completely based on my internship

If they have asked to produce and you dont have then better to ask through mail will they allow or not.

Its not hard if you work hard. You have to secure under 500 rank for psus and under 1000 rank for M.tech from IITs.
