This tutorial is much appreciated. MSI also sends their thanks for you doing their work for them. Why they can manufacture a product and spend plenty of marketing dollars promoting it's sale but can send the consumer out to sea without a paddle by not providing sufficient installation instructions is pretty weak.
I've install this in my first build. Its literally just screws for the for the fans and radiator.
You have to look into your motherboard instructions to see where the rgb headers go. So what was your problem?
Had to rig a few cables because I didn’t have enough headers but it all works perfect! This video helped out so much

So is there any issues with top mounting this? I didn't even know the pump was in the radiator. That'd make the pump be at the top of the loop.

Daaamn I had many issues with my pc with bluescreens, shutdowns and so and uppon inspection, I saw that thermal throttling was often used (so CPU got 100 degrees). When watching your video I remember that sticker but not if I removed it. I now took it apart and saw... The sticker was still on! I removed it and now even under load it stays at around 60-70 degrees. Many thanks!
How are your fans orientated? Are they pulling air into the case or exhausting? I'm worried I did it wrong on my top mount

Um, for my C240 AIO, the cable thats connected to the radiator itself only has 3 holes in the cable instead if 4. although i have the required PUMP_FAN thinig on the mobo. can i still plug the 3 hole cable from the radiator to the 4 pin PUMP_FAN?

Excellent video bro, since I am going to buy that water cooler and it is my first PC mount. But I have a question, instead of connecting the pwm fan splitter (the one that comes included in the box) for the fans to the CPU Fan, can I connect the fans to a HUB?
Building pc for younger brother and his motherboard (asrock b365 phantom) only has 4pin rgb led and a 3 pin addr led. Is the addr the same as jrainbow which is also 3 pin. Watched a video where crossing rgb and addr might blow leds in fans bc of power and I don’t want to make that mistake. But I can’t see any other way to light up the leds in the fans.
how you fit the front cover after that installation? I have the same phanteks case and this is case is not designed to have the front fans like that bro.

It may be a long shot, but do you happen to know the diameter of the plastic washers? Mine got lost and need to get replacements.
Should I go for this or H100i Platinum? I own MSI motherboard and think this would be aesthetically more pleasing that the corsair cooler. I have not seen any particular difference between the two in performance.
I bought the 240r and was wondering because the pump is in the radiator, would it be better to install this in the top? Or in the front like this? I just want to make sure I don’t get any air bubbles stuck in the cpu block

I did the same setup with you but the fans on the radiator are running 100% how can i fix it ? bios settings is not working fan control.
since the pump is inside the radiator you can have the radiator in any orientation right?
So you have to put in the coolant yourself or is it already in the pump?
Hello. Is it bad to install this cooler on top of the case instead of front? Meaning that the pump will be at the highest point of the loop?
Also how do I check if the pump is circulating coolant? Cuz I don’t want to run my pc not knowing the pump isn’t powered cuz I plugged it in to the wrong spot, does the pump just go into a case fan slot?
Do these parts follow with buying the 360r? Or do you need to buy them seperate?
Hi. tell me please. i have msi core liquid 240r v2 2 coolers connect to cpu fan and cpu opt? and from the radiator there is a wire, should it be inserted into the aio pump? And where do I need to insert the connector from the backlight? in 5v or 12v?

My motherboard has chassis/water pump fan connectors, cpu fan connector and cpu/water pump fan connector. Which one should i use for the pump and which one should i use for the fans?
I heard if no pump header you should put the pump in a fan header and the radiator’s fans in cpu header.... does that change anything?

Greetings. tell me if there is a serial connection of the backlight from 2 coolers and 1 on the processor head? I have 1 5v connector on the board, can I connect the 3 ends of the backlight to 1 and insert the end into 5v?
hi, im interested on buying this aio but will it work on my MSI b450 gaming plus max mobo? it does have pump header but since it says argb im worried cuz this one does not have 3 pin headers
you dont need argb header to use the rgb on the cooler and fans. you can do it from a controller if you have a board that doesnt have a header
When it came to the wiring you had me confused. You zoomed in on some wires but where were those wires coming from on the cooler. I felt this part could have been much clearer.

Hello how you control the rgb lights? What software? And how you control the power of the pump?
Is it normal for the rgb to not turn on until after you do the software? If that makes sense... cuz mine don’t turn on like from first install. And idk if my jrainbow is not working. Or not... so is that normal until after the software?
I saw the fan splitter cable but the male side had 3 pins and the female side had 4 pins will it still work

Great video very helpful. The only issue I am having is I have an ROG Strix motherboard and the rgb light on the fans don't come one, or they will come on once in a while, not to sure why. Anyone having this issue as well?
Its any way how cooler refill? I have nose sound on PC power on and is relly common problem. I try remove bubble with moving cooler but dosent help.
My motherboard is locked into my case and I don’t want to take it out and risk damaging anything, how can I put in the bracket around the cpu when I can’t put the blockers on the back of the motherboard????

I bought this cooler and replaced the fans with fans that ma chef my case fans and plugged them in to the header in the case and they light up and spin. I also plugged in the cable on the back of the rad to the pump fan header but in bios my cpu temp kept rising and rising and that was just being in the bios. Would anyone have an idea why I am having this problem. I don’t have any cables plugged in to the cpu fan header but I shouldnt need to as I used different fans and they are working. I also did not plug in the cold plate cables as I did not have a spot for them but they are just for rgb anyways?

My board has a 4 pin connector and i got the AiO what can i do now? The pump is working but no rgb. I was searching for many solutions but still sitting here. I tried to put it in thr ARGB header and no changes.

THANK YOU!!!! I’m very new to the pc world and have been banging my head on the wall for a couple hours trying to get mine wired up. I’m sure my neighbors are happy that they no longer have to listen to me yell at my computer lol.
I connected everything as you have shown, but my AIO fans won't light up. All fans spin just fine but do not light up. I have an MSI motherboard (MPG Pro Carbon Z390) and an MSI MAG coreliquid 360R AIO. The AIO pump head does not light up either. The mystic lights in the motherboard work fine and I can control them in the Dragon Center. I have updated the mobo BIOS and chipset drivers and it did not help. It's a new computer. I tested a single fan connected to the JRAINBOW1 connector and did not light up either, so I'm starting to think that the JRAINBOW1 connector is defective. Any ideas as to why JRAIBOW1 is not working? It is turned on in the Dragon Center. Thanks.
Good video. However, I have to ask if the way you have installed the fans (with the dragon aiming outside the case) is not for blowing the air inside the case? In that case, it would be blowing hot air inside the case; I think.
Air temperature does not matter. It's about the flow of air not how hot it is. Not my first rodeo buddy.
hi ! my 240r dont have enough of that female end. the header have 1 male female. and 2 fans have 2 of each. so if i connect the head feamle on boars. i only have 5 ends which is 3 male and 2 females. pls helppppppp

Pump fan cable, as shown in the video and as with my unit, the plug has three holes for pins to go into. However, the motherboard has four pins for the pump fan. The video shows this as well. Then he just says "plug it in". Okay? How do you plug it in if the cable has three holes for pins but the motherboard has four pins sticking out? Am I stupid? Or is the video very unclear about this?

Very helpful video/guide, but I have a Phanteks P400A and installing the fans on the outside in this way meant my front mesh panel would not fit back on. Instead I had to remove the screws and reposition the HDD bay further back (there are already holes for you to do this) and install the fans Infront of the radiator inside the case.

I have a nzxt h510i. As far as I know the "smart hub's led ports" will only control rgb for nzxt products. Can anyone confirm this? Can I use the "led 2" port for the rgb in this aio?

When installing this on an asus prime h570 mobo the water block seems to contact the capacitors directly to the left of the cpu. I've checked orientation. anyone know how this can be prevented?

Is there anything I can do if my motherboard does not have a jrainbow header? I have 2 4-pin RGB headers available. Can I run this without RGB and just power the fans / pump? If that won’t work can I ditch the MSI fans entirely and use just 2 random stock fans and power them through the provided fan splitter? Any help would be appreciated
If you plug in a 3-pin in a 4-pin your header will go boom. You need an aRGB controller for example.
