Scents are strong memory reminders. My son wore one of the old spice deodorants and since he’s passed I wear that particular deodorant because it reminds me of him. Today would’ve been his 30th birthday so I just got home from celebrating his birthday with my bf, sister, bil and niece. We go to his favorite restaurant twice a year once for his birthday and again his Angel birthday.
It’s been a sad day for me but it was fun to have this video to give me some prettier things to think about. Thank you so much!!

Alicia bought the Star Wars limited-edition MS "Midnight Sun" palette, & it IS just a puffy sticker on the lid. I think it's pretty crappy that they didn't say that on the PML site. She thought it was etched or printed onto the lid.

One brand I think you should try and would really like is Doll Beauty from the UK- their cream blushes and new highlighting blushes are GORGEOUS and they have a lot of light nude lipsticks that are beautiful full coverage shades that I know you (and me!) really love:) 😊🥰❤️
I bought the palette bundle from Pat McGrath - the three 5-pan palettes, and the mothership. It is indeed a puffy sticker applied to the regular mothership packaging. Applied very crookedly, I might add. And I never received the Golden One (C-3PO palette) palette. I contacted customer service and they replied "well, it's out of stock so we can't ship to you". I'm very disappointed in Pat McGrath
Same darn thing happened to me. But when they shipped out the Divine Droid separately, just as it said on the website, I received a broken one and a duplicate. But not my Golden One!

Me too - missing the golden one. If you look at the packing slip it isn’t even listed. I wonder if it was a screw up in the order details to package system. Anyway I’m really disappointed- I’ve emailed customer service and still haven’t even gotten a response!! This whole collection has been a big stuff up - lots of people with problems or disappointments.

Oh that Byredo pallet is soo beautiful. How sad it didn’t work as well as your other two purchases. I just love that last pans color, like a grayish purple in such a soft way. I have blue green eyes and those colors look the best to accentuate them.

Recently I've been learning that I need a lighter shade of foundation than I thought. I had to get the lightest shade of the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation before it matched my neck/chest. It's crazy what having a naturally flushed face will make you think about yourself.

I got that Too Faced- and the Rare beauty - I can see the glitter particles in Too Faced but the Rare beauty is fabulous- glides on and has no large particles just sheen.

How on earth is Pat McGrath able to charge the luxury prices that she does AND give horrible customer service w RIDICULOUS shipping times?
I think its because she's got her fan based built up so now they just accept whatever crap she feeds them. Instead of being critical based on each and every launch they've lumped the beginning with now. It's the crumb effect or something like that I can't remember what it's called exactly but basically you get them hooked and then by the end of it, she's just feeding crumbs and they're putting up with it! It's ridiculous.

I think u will love the new rare beauty highlights and the CT new highlight in the lightest shade is super pretty too. I am so tired of brands making pallets and putting in highlights that are to dark but then the blushes are just right for light skin but they put highlight in for darker skin makes no sense to me.
I ordered two of each a week ago... still waiting for them :) Im hearing such great things. Ya I wonder that as well with the cohesiveness of the palettes 🤔

I heard that PM was shipping out the one pallet separately
If the Droid palette was the one that was separate, it was shipped at a later date than the rest. Which was weird. Happened to everyone. I forgot about it until I got my box without it.
I don’t think it made any business sense at all…but if you bought the trio, it did say on the product details that the R2D2 shipped separately at a later date (12/27?). It didn’t say it on order confirmation or anywhere else 🤷🏻♀️ my opinion is they needed everything ready to ship at the time of launch.

Heard the same thing from Allie Dawson about the missing palette. She also pointed out it’s the same palette as another one too.
Truly, I cannot understand how Pat McGrath Labs gets away with their horrendous customer service. Their shipping is absolutely atrocious, and their customer service is worse.
This is not a small indie brand, this is an established brand that has every opportunity and ability to get their shipping and customer service under control.
Paired with the chalky bulky nonsense of the last Bridgeton collection, and this cheap sticker nonsense of this Star Wars collection... I cannot fathom why people continue to pay the price tags for this brand, considering there are a multitude of other brands that are putting out products of equal caliber.
If any other brand was pulling that nonsense, they'd be boycotted by everyone. Pat McGrath Labs seriously needs to get a damn grip.
That's why we buy her on sale.... can't be buying her stuff on those ridiculous prices......
The Pat McGrath big palette is a sticker as well. Many are upset!
The Star Wars Limited Edition Mothership Palette is, in fact, a puffy sticker, but REALLY nice. I hope in time the sticker does not raise on the edges. It sucks that it is a reproduction of Mothership VI, but in Star Wars edition. Had I realized at time of purchase, I would not have gotten it. I, too, received 2 of the 3 five-pan shadow palettes, and subsequently, the 3rd also arrived solo.

Pat McGrath…..I purchased $319 of Christmas presents on nov 12. I received shipping notification, then nothing-no progression. I still haven’t received them, no presents. I contacted customer service mid dec and nothing then again once a week. I never heard back. I ended up going to PayPal for dispute resolution and got my money back in a day. I’m in Australia and I expect 2-4 weeks shipping around holidays so I contacted dhl they said pat mcgrath created a shipping label but never dispatched. Last year I got my Black Friday holiday palette jan 29. During the year they do ok but I’m not giving them a chance around holidays ever ever again.

Pat Mcgrath is probably the crappiest when it comes to customer service and shipping. It absolutely determines whether or not I would even bother placing an order from them. I can almost guarantee my order will arrive damaged.
I've seen multiple people mention the droid palette not being in their package, but apparently on the site it had said that one wouldn't ship until January 1st IIRC? So basically everyone who ordered the trio on launch or around launch, their package only contained the other two quints 🤗oh & the star Wars midnight sun? It IS sticker. I saw someone on remove it with ease. Alicia Archer here on yt talks about it too 😏😬
I ordered the R2D2 palette and I got no email receipt or notification. I couldn’t remember if I ordered it or not? I did get it a few days ago. It’s very pretty but I don’t like the packaging.

Tara, I have a question for you. I have dark brown hair with cool undertone, I was wondering what Brand you use for Purple Shampoo? And do you use a Purple Conditioner as well? I want my highlights brighter but I don’t think the Hair Stylist is not using the correct number that I desire.
I generally don’t love Nars output, too light got me but I love the Orgasim Rising!
I ordered Huetopian dream alongside some other products from the Black Friday sale. The other ones arrived a month later, but the Huetopian dream did not. I emailed the Pat McGrath customer service two weeks ago. No answer. :(
