I am a Durango Resident with a Gen 1 KLR and a WR450 and I ride these trails all the time, yes they are great! I really enjoy your videos YOU ARE Awesome!
+Bob Price YOUUUU are awesome, Bob! Great choice in bikes, too. Next time we get a little crew to go up there, it would be really cool to ride with you... perhaps you could show us some local favorites?
Geez mate .. Absolutely spectacular :) I can't begin to describe the feelings of envy I have for you (and your Western US adventure riders who can get to this magical place) Thanks so much for taking us along on this wonderful ride!
Back again to watch this absolutely awesome real dual sport adventure. I can't imagine how cool that ride would be. Hard to absorb all those epic views and scenery. I would crash and burn at every turn from gazing at all the awesome views. Until we meet again....
+MrRojoneck Ty let's seriously take some time and ride this okay? It would be a blast to catch up with you over a few days of riding, fishing, and even some hunting.
+eveRide ADV Back again...can't help myself, I'm addicted. I've decided your videos actually suck Tyler...suck me right into a vapor locking force field causing my face to collide into my screen every time I watch these videos. Not to mention the severe violent case of heaping thigh sweats.
+ColoradoDualSport NOW YOU'RE TALKING! I would absolutely love it. In the mean time... come to Utah, enjoy the 70 degree weather, and we'll hit some amazing trails!
Without question, the videos of the Emig ride are the best of your excellent work I think I've seen, particularly Day 4. I know much of the territory you covered and am in great admiration of Black Bear, which I think my problems with heights and the difficulties of the "steps" would probably preclude my doing. Well done !!!!!!! Looked for the routes on your FB channel but couldn't find them !
Hole-Lee-Smokes !!! Fantastic edit and thought I was watching a "Warren eveRide Miller" movie!!! Emig kick's ass and 3:25 & 4min, WoW ;) That Waterfall Trail, doh !!!
Simply awesome and have added this ride to to-do list as well! Thanks for posting. Your post-production is top notch and I really enjoy all your videos. Keep up the great work.Cheers!Scott
I've been watching your videos for a long time now it seems Tyler, I always look forward to them every week and hope to one day soon join in the motovloging community! Cheers
Last time I commented on one of your videos I was in PA now i'm in OK and it's 2 years later. Your still at it and now i'm able to get even closer with my xt250. Still wouldn't hold up to your bikes but I can get dirty! Haha
Whenever I see the drone footage always assumed it was some ultra high end DJI. Turns out a phantom 3 and knowing what your doing is more than good enough. 👍
+ewxlt Glad you liked the music. It's from the RUclips audio library which has some pretty good stuff, but it's always tough to find decent music to use in videos without risk of copyright bothers. Thanks :)
This is something I think I have to do. Former active duty Marine retired after 27 years currently no job. I have had the same bike the KiLleR 650 for 10 years the bike in some strange way has become my best friend and I owe it to the bike and myself an adventure of a lifetime. Currently live in SoCal and just started back up going off road after I converted the bike as a commuter for 8 years. Not ashamed to say I am very rusty.
We're all newbs at one point. I've ridden for 10 years ( first bike was a KLR) and I would still scratch my head a bit if I got a flat on a trail (in fact I'm likely not fully prepared with my DR out on the trail). Sometimes you just have to cross your fingers and ride 😀 keep up the great video's.
Wow, things have been crazy up here. Getting to some vids late. But wow, great one! I really needed that distraction for a few. I also really liked the music in this vid. simple yet fitting.
You've stepped up your game with editing on this one! Nice Job. Black Bear pass in a jeep is a bit sketchy too when you only have about 10 feet to do a 180 turn in. And the consequences.... well, let's not go there.
it always sucks to see great things come to an end. but i could ammend it. its good that great things come to an end. why? because it keeps these great things from becoming dreary every-day junk. it gives us a break so we can come back to it and appreciate it for the awesomeness that it is.... awesome work. :-D Thank you, Tyler for your work!
+b1pig Thanks so much!!! Yeah I'm glad these big adventures are fairly rare... it makes them all the more amazing when I am fortunate enough to take them :)
Awesome vids man...I'm getting into ADV very soon and have been watching all your vids...I will defiantly be making the trek to Moab someday on my DR650S..keep doing what you are doing man AWESOME!!
Great video. I've done Black Bear quite a few times and it's still one of my favorite rides. BTW, Telluride isn't a very MTC or OHV friendly town. I refuse to spend any money there if I can avoid it when I'm out that way.
+Motorep146 Yeah Telluride seemed like a bit of a Hippy town. I made a few comments while riding through but left them out of the video because they were pretty mean. Needless to say we got some dirty looks on our bikes.
best emig video so far, every edit, every music selection was spot on! wonderful! question - are you planning on making a single edit of the 4 days? it's be long, but I imagine it would be pretty awesome to see it all together!
+kaianine That would be pretty cool, now that you mention it! You know... I was hanging out with my family last night (some of them still have no idea what I do) and I was explaining a little about it... and it was brought up that I should make a full-length movie about leaving teaching and pursuing my dream. I think it sounds pretty cool :)
Great video looks like an awesome place to ride. But those cliffs are intense better make sure you have good brakes!we don't have anything like that where I'm from.
Sad its over. Yet again superb scenery from nature part and superb editing from your part. Tho0se guys do really boogy on those KLR's No excuses from anyone not to get out there and experience that sort of stuff
I know this video is 5 years old, but here's my comment. I feel like I ever got a chance to do an awesome ride like this I wouldn't blast through it at 65 miles an hour. I'd slow it down and savor it a little bit. Almost looks like you're trying to get the whole thing over with.
+TurdBucket That's a good question! I think it's pretty cooled off for most of the year, the big problem is catching snow. We did it in mid-August and still ran into snow on the top of Imogene pass. I think late July to late August is probably the best time to do this route.
Absolutely breathtaking! My heart was in my mouth watching some of those tracks! Great video dude - a real pleasure to watch. Thank you!
+The Crumble You are most certainly welcome :)
I am a Durango Resident with a Gen 1 KLR and a WR450 and I ride these trails all the time, yes they are great! I really enjoy your videos YOU ARE Awesome!

Making it to the first switchback after the steps is always a good feeling !

+eveRide ADV Yes that's me!!
+Kathy Doan awesomeness!
Geez mate .. Absolutely spectacular :) I can't begin to describe the feelings of envy I have for you (and your Western US adventure riders who can get to this magical place) Thanks so much for taking us along on this wonderful ride!

Crazy to think that is in our own backyard, so to speak. Absolutely beautiful. Excellent video!
+donghuffer Thanks so much Don. G! I think this needs to be done by our crew sometime, eh? A week next summer would be incredible!
Dual sport utopia . Great video of a great adventure .
Subscribed some time ago and now watching back episodes.
Loved this. Noting like that scenery in Oz!
Back again to watch this absolutely awesome real dual sport adventure. I can't imagine how cool that ride would be. Hard to absorb all those epic views and scenery. I would crash and burn at every turn from gazing at all the awesome views. Until we meet again....

+MrRojoneck we need to do this route, sir... this fall, perhaps?
The view is absolutely gorgeous! Great ride and talk. You always bring up the vibe brother!

+richmoto1 You're very welcome! I hope to get back there sometime soon.
Absolutely beautiful brother! We will be doing this loop very soon!

Last time I commented on one of your videos I was in PA now i'm in OK and it's 2 years later. Your still at it and now i'm able to get even closer with my xt250. Still wouldn't hold up to your bikes but I can get dirty! Haha
A very well executed conclusion to an amazing adventure!
+California Dual Sport Riders Thanks Jefe! Someday we're going to have to get a big adventure on!
Whenever I see the drone footage always assumed it was some ultra high end DJI. Turns out a phantom 3 and knowing what your doing is more than good enough. 👍
Out of all the motovloggers out there, you're my favorite one man. Great video (as always) keep up the good work! :D

Amazing footage! Awesome Vlog Everide.
Strong work. Great music as well.
+ewxlt Glad you liked the music. It's from the RUclips audio library which has some pretty good stuff, but it's always tough to find decent music to use in videos without risk of copyright bothers. Thanks :)

Hahaha that Mario Bros analogy was funny.. Great video as usual
Just AWESOME. Thank You!!

+TheTrailHammer So true! There's that fine balance between being prepared and being overloaded, and that line is up to the rider's interpretation :)
Wow, things have been crazy up here. Getting to some vids late. But wow, great one! I really needed that distraction for a few. I also really liked the music in this vid. simple yet fitting.
+ChaoticDetour Thanks man!
Bucket list, you bet! Woa!

Love your adventures! Very inspiring.
Great stuff, a real pleasure to watch!
Awesome ride, Great video
You've stepped up your game with editing on this one! Nice Job. Black Bear pass in a jeep is a bit sketchy too when you only have about 10 feet to do a 180 turn in. And the consequences.... well, let's not go there.
+davi200 Yeah those consequences... not a good place to run off the road eh? :)
Another great one Tyler! Thanks!

@@eveRide did you ever make that movie?
Just wondering who the "one person" was who clicked "dislike" ....Great video!!!....Great job....All it needs is a little more Cowbell.....
+simon templer I full-on agree! The disliker was Christopher Walken for that precise reason :D
I am speechless. Stay safe
Great video looks like an awesome place to ride. But those cliffs are intense better make sure you have good brakes!we don't have anything like that where I'm from.

👍 great video.
Nice Job!!! I entered the contest, but I guess I didn't have the eveRide Mojo.
+Gunner40Five I'll most certainly have to point out the tips in an upcoming video :)
I know this video is 5 years old, but here's my comment. I feel like I ever got a chance to do an awesome ride like this I wouldn't blast through it at 65 miles an hour. I'd slow it down and savor it a little bit. Almost looks like you're trying to get the whole thing over with.
...epic man. Thanks
I rode that last year with a group of friends in our trucks. That first section called the steeps was one sketchy spot.
Really nice video! Thanks for making such good content :)
+iSlander Thanks as always for the kind comments :D
ultimate ride cideo
This trip looks amazing! I'm going to try to get my dad and brothers to do this next summer! What months are best to miss killer heat?
