Thank you so much for this to everyone involved. Each of you are so special. I'm an AF Vet and my fiance is army and AF. He did three types in Iraq and I only did one, but that's all I had in me after the rape. And that's why this channel means so much to me, seeing what others are going through and that they are dealing with the same things we are even so much later. Thank you, with all of my heart thank you!

If you are a veteran and your life has changed since returning home. You are not alone. It took me over forty years. 9/11 was my breaking point. I was always able to bury my thoughts and go about my life. But over the years the stress of my pts was effecting me both mentally as well as physically. I made the choice of seeking help through my local vet center. We are all brothers and sisters and have a bond that cannot ever be broken. Please if you need help seek it through your local vet center, American Legion, or other veteran organizations that can be found on the web.

Thank you for giving yourself that care. Your family no doubt benefited because you did get treated.

Thank God you get it. Some don't go. They miss so much life. I continue to go. They help in many ways. My children respect the VA because of help I received.

Sad to hear the story like this. This is why the discipline is very important in the military systems. I am also sad to see the homeless veteran wondering on the street to beg for help. I don't know what is going for them end up on the street. I helped them something. They told me that God bless you. I hope those vets' of our own citizens deserves the help first.

Being in combat made me cold and hard..life wasn't easy at first in civilian mode...years of adapting and booze compounded my level of hatred of fellow man...first marriage was a disaster..my fault...second ended after thirty one years in her death...the V.A. and my newest love finally opened my eyes....gotta get it right.....

I guess the military doesn't want these stories to come out. Thanks for speaking out. Perhaps " The General's Daughter" is not so far fetched after all.

What was very sad to me, was when a week ago me and my boyfriend saw a young veteran by McDonalds who was homeless.
