Bassist Carol Kaye discusses playing on The Electric Prunes' David Axelrod produced albums

I've done session work with the Prune's original drummer the late great Preston Ritter. I believe he may have left the band prior to the period Ms. Kaye got involved with. I do know that throughout the '70s Preston studied drums under Ed Shaughnessy (of the Johnny Carson era Tonight Show fame), and by the 80s he became an excellent session jazz drummer.
