I just re-downloaded Ark after experiencing a lot of issues with crashing months ago and immediately downloaded the Dragons and Griffins mod but was really hoping someone would review them or talk about them so this is just immaculate timing! Love it!
Owl Griffins protecting your base by sitting down. Must have amazing colors as well. Axe, we need to see colors!!!! Have Syntac add this or have you add this so it can surprise him!!!! If Ark had the rideable otter my hubby would definitely play it.
18:34 I like that detail too, especially after seeing it do it's sitting/stand up animation. With that heavy build, having it take it's time when performing these actions makes perfect sense😊
I saw the Owl Griffin mod the other day and fell in love with it. I'm still holding out on picking up ASA though because there are a few mods I'd like to see go live/get replaced. I can't play without Immersive Taming, though I know that one probably won't get replaced, sadly.
The hybrid mod doesn't need dna anymore it just needs a machine and one of each required dino not dna just the actual dino tamed ofc and it is still being worked on

@AxeMan, you got my Nucleus mod installed, use that one to spawn in the dinos for your mod dino overviews with any colors or stats you want
That hybrid mod is NOT affiliated with SID’S hybrids, and when his gets released it will NOT BE A PREMIUM MOD. Right now, he’s having trouble with the ASA devkit, but he is working on porting the mod to ASA
I have the dragon mod on my server they are cool the ancient one is huge but if you don't want to upgrade it you can still fly around and do everything with each teir
If you do get him to add it they spawn mostly in the snow region that connects to the redwoods it's a bit of an over spawn if you ask me there are tons of them
I have Dragon Kingdom and it is awesome. They remind me of the GOT's Dragons. I have a black on that looks just like Drogon, I actually was able to change the color of the fire with the admin command SETMYTARGETDINO...but I could have sworn it was the number 2 area, not 3. It was the main body color, not the wing color. The glide animation looks really cool too. One other cool thing about adding this mod is that unlike the vanilla Wyverns of ARK that normally are just around the dragon scars, these dragons spawn on random areas of the map, the snow, the river areas, grasslands, volcano area, etc. So there is a real danger with the wild ones because you never know when a dragon is just going to rain down fire on you from the sky with no warning. Brings some danger to the game. Great mod.
The phoenix fire also doesn't change right away but can be controlled by a color region. If you put it in a cryopod, or log out and back in, it will work. If you go back to that game now it will probably have pink fire. Just fyi.
I love all these new creature mods that are now available in ASA. However, I always wonder after I install them what I'll ever need all these flying creatures for, because my Rhyniognatha is just MVP. Nothing ever comes close to the rhynio, it's just too good.
I've been playing Ave's Draconic Chronicles and finished the final boss (as of now. as it may be updated soon). I'm looking for creatures to tame since the dragons don't have colour mutations but they're pretty okay the mod has its own crafting stations and such. Liking the idea of Gryphons and Marnie's Owl Griffins I see you spawned in the Royal Owl griffin, Axe. Don't think Hybrids premium mod is worth it imo but I guess, over time with more creatures to be mixed, it'll be better. Until Console is able to have more space for mods I have to be very choosy what I would like on my Ark. As for after changing no. 3 region colour...maybe pod it then release again, maybe that may change the flame colour?
I have been using the dragon since early release. There's a few bugs still but I will say they're updating it every few days and fixing the bugs as quickly as they are reported in discord. IMO. Plus a overhaul to the movement system is being done from what I can see at the moment. Either way I've been enjoying that dragon but I get you It definitely has a few issues.
the owl-griffin has 2 variants I think theres one loyal and one normal I've seen the loyal ones spawn in the winter biome (im not sure if its only there) but I think its tail is different from the other one
Sooooo the otter thing. There was an otter in the creature votes for...i don't remember the map😅 and i loved it and i still really really want it in the game.i don't know if there is a more for this specific Otter, because Ark doesn't work for me ATM, but i hope it's at least a mod sometime in the future . As for this video i really really love the owl Griffin, it's for the first time even better imo than the normal one.
I nave the dragon mod. The only problems I have is the egg lvl, wouldn't mind it being the same as the wyvern from scorched, and then there is a problem when dismount in mid air. The dragons glide by themselves when not sprinting but if you dismount or get dismounted in mid air they won't glide anymore. Have had to breed spares for that problem.
Anyone know where on the center the Royal Owl Griffins spawn? Im in Xbox, and i can find the normal ones, but the royals are a bit harder to find. I know it says "snowy region" but i cant find them.
I think there is a bit of a bug, but I’m not sure, and The Center snow biomes seem to be rare spawns for the Royal OwlGriffins. 👍 I have heard they spawn fine on The Island tho.
I like the creature mods but i feel like that dragon one and the hybrids need their own map or you should run them as part of a map and not together. I already saw the flamehorn one and thought about it but really i have no use for it. The pyro is broken as is having another broken thing doesn't really interest me. Thank you for showing off these mods.
No there wont be, he only ever does 1 vid a day. Wether its ark or something else. I feel ya bro. I was hanging for an ep like i do every day from all the boys especially axes one. But if its a mod video or palworld etc thats all you'll get for that day. Us hanging for the boys shenanigans, need to wait and hope its the next day. Unfortunately 😅

ASE hybrids were much better and more effort was put into the models. Seems like who ever didn’t this hybrid mods just cut and pasted assets and I can’t imagine it’s the same creator.
I really dislike the hybrid mod. Especially after you said its a Premium Mod. It totally feels like a scam. The models are badly crafted, just pieces put together. If you compare it to the free mods out there, even just the ones from this video, who wouldnt feel scamed? The totally deserve a unique model, if you ask me. Otherwise its not worth it in my opinion. Also: I understand this hybrid hype comes from the Jurassic World franchise, even though i really thislike its idea. So im not a fan of adding this to every dinosaur game (which is also beacause im really into Paleontology and i think the hybrids really ruin the fascination for these extinct animals and makes dinos into poket monsters). I can only recommend to not buy this mod. However: Can we talk about the dragons?! How cool do they look. I mean wow! One can clearly see where the models inspiration comes from, but how cool is this implemented into the game?! Really blown away. Also love the owl griffon :3

The owl griffin looks amazing, the tail feathers look a bit off to me personally though. It might just be because im used to the lion tail.

You can admin the color it's the body color that changes the fire color. The color Regins for the dragon or 2 3 and 4 2 is the body.
Npc mod I would love to see on the sausage party server. The NPCs actually attack your base. I use that mod ob my server, it's great fun.

The yuty hybrid looks like a v rex from King Kong 2005 and the weird plant hybrid is part pachyrhinosaurus and idk the other
