This was a nice series with beautiful fall colors. My BMW Club, the South Coast BMW Riders Club, out of Orange County SoCal rides up to Bishop about every other year for the fall colors. We ride as far as Lundy Lake, just north of Lee Vining, then ride to Convict Lake and around Mammoth & the June Lake Loop. Did you know there is another RUclipsr with the name "Ride On" ? He lives in Georgia and has about 3K subs. I look forward to more scenic rides on your Duc.
I met someone from your club today at the 49er. Darned if I can remember their name, though. I suck with names… always have, but I’m blaming it on old age now. 🙂 There are several Ride Ons, a product or two and an AC/DC song. I looked around before naming the channel, but didn’t find the other ride one until later. I just did a ride on the Duc a couple weeks ago. I have other videos in the pipeline, so it’ll be a couple months or so before that one is done.
@@Ride_0n The Club has a few members who make the trek north each year for the 49er. Have a great time while there. You just earned a new subscriber even if you can't remember names. 😁
As I often repeat, I love the east side of the Sierras. I drove Sonora Pass a couple of year ago. Beautiful! Patterson Pass was an interesting one and a half lane road. Hope you are fully healed. Thanks for the adventure.
Sonora is a fantastic ride for sure. Fun and with incredible views. Patterson Pass is about 45 min to an hour from home, so it's something I've ridden quite a few times. I love to go there in the spring when the hills are green and the windmills are turning. I was really surprised to see the endless stream of commuters. Totally caught me off guard. I haven't done a ride since then and it's been 4.5 months. I still walk with a limp and if I stand/walk too much during a day, I have some swelling that will stick around for a few days. So there's my excuse to continue not going into the office! Most of us haven't for a few years anyway. I'm hoping to get out fairly soon... if it'll stop raining long enough.
What difficult challenges have you faced on a ride?
