A few days back, I received a call from my dear friend Anderson (Meta) and he told me that there is a high profile guest coming to the Meta office in Bombay. I was intrigued and asked him who it was. The next two words which came out of his mouth will forever ring in my ears. I don't think I will ever be able to thank Anderson fully for this opportunity. David Beckham is my childhood hero. I loved everything about him - the majestic freekicks because no one bended it like Beckham, the number 7 on his back, the myriad of hairstyles and finally the fact that he played for my favourite club - Manchester United. I cried the day I found out that he was moving to Real Madrid. The fact that this year in Feb, I told myself that there will be a day in my life where I hang with the great man - dreams do come true and dreams are better when you live it with your brother and family. David Beckham will always be my hero. Thank you for everything my number 7.
