“Nightmares Reign” marks the 4th and most sophisticated album yet of the east German death metal quintet DEATHRITE. The second single “Obscure Shades” continues the eerie path through an album, that adds a darker vibe to the raw, riff packed mayhem that DEATHRITE creates.
The video was filmed and edited by Paul Schlesier from Pallid Eyes Film. Capturing the cold and gloomy vibe of the song, the video follows the band through darkness and the paranormal - perfectly illustrating the title of the album “Nightmares Reign”.

Good Doomy metal with Norwegian black metal flavors mixed in, great vocals, great production! Theres nothing to not like here...wanna hear one or two more before i throw down some cash for hopefully a vinyl copy but if this tune is an indicator of what the remainder of the album sounds like then im getting this album.
