Hi Alan, pleased to have stumbled across your channel.Your enthusiasm is infectious and your adventures a boy to watch.Keep up the good work mate "Onwards and upwards"
Thanks Steve sorry for late reply I'm filming again in Scotland. I'm really happy you liked the videos and thanks for the kind words...Merry Christmas and happy New year Steve and thanks for commenting ATB ALAN GREGORY ADVENTURES 👍👍😫
Hiya Alan, this time you battled more with the weather than with the mountain, but I suppose that's Munro-bagging. Good drone shots as ever - I write poetry and what I do with the language, you do with that flying device. All the best, looking forward to the next one! Cheers, keep safe my friend, Paul.
Hiya Paul... it was a pity about the 2nd munro, you have to know when to turn back because I have come unstuck a couple of times in bad weather and it can be a bit scary especially in challenging conditions 😳. Thanks Paul for watching and keep up the poetry 👍.. keep safe too 👍 Alan Gregory adventures 😃
Hiya Dave thanks..hope you enjoy it as much as I did..I agree beautiful views to rannoch Moor..🤗 Many thanks for commenting and watching atb Alan Gregory adventures
My favourite place in Scotland, Love Glen etive mor and the climb to those peaks, Great video mate very enjoyable and the commentary is superb! Nice one mate
Hiya Mark Thankyou very much.👍 Your right it's a great area, really stunning mountain's and Glen Etive is a beautiful Glen. Glad you liked the vid and commentary ,really appreciate it. Many thanks for watching and commenting ATB ALAN GREGORY ADVENTURES 😁😁👍👍
Well you got some great views. Interesting route up and, I guess far less used that the A 82 road side route. Looks like you made a good call to retreat when you did. Appreciate that can be a difficult decision to take when you are so near but to linger might well have made the decent far worse. Interesting challenge.
Hi Charles... It was a little dissapointing to not bag the other Munro but I agree ,waiting for it to clear could have taken minutes to hours. A very interesting way up and was happy to see a small path that made it easier. I was lucky to have the summit of buachaille etive mor all to myself to film, so that was a bonus.A nice outing and thanks for commenting and watching Charles..cheers Alan Gregory adventures....
Great stuff Alan , glad you bagged the first hill before this mists dropped in . However the drone footage really brings out the drama of mountains shrowded in mist . Another cracking vid mate atb Dave
Thanks dave ...youre right the drone makes a difference showing the mountain's from a different dimension especially when the clouds roll in. Thanks again for watching ATB ALAN GREGORY 👍👍
Wow, that drone footage was stunning Alan. Really captured how immense and awesome the Buachaille is. You’ll have a field day with that drone sweeping across the Lost Valley, all the way up to Bidean Nam Bian! Regards, Douglas 😉🙌🏼⛰
Cheers Douglas yeah its a special mountain. I will go and film the lost valley maybe this winter when it's quieter and hopefully catch some nice footage. I had to wait 2 hours on the summit to take the drone shots as its such a popular mountain and I can understand why it's you're favourite. Thanks for watching Douglas Bye4now Alan Gregory Adventures
Shame the weather moved in for the second top Alan but at least you got those great Rannoch Moor views from Stob Dearg. Always good to try a new route up a popular mountain. I split this one into two trips did Stob Dearg many moons ago on a perfect day, was actually on the way home from a holiday up there and couldn't resist stopping and heading up haha. Then did the second Munro a few years ago on a similar day to you but was lucky and got the great view down Glen Etive before it closed in again. Great video. Take care. Mick.
Hiya Mick..Looking back i should of gone for it because it's a long drive there for 2 days. Well done on bagging them both Mick and I'll be back to do the same in winter hopefully. Cheers for watching ATB ALAN GREGORY Adventures
Bad luck Alan, Nothing worse than that happening. Glad you made it back doon safe an sound, Looked dodgy though!! But you do get a stunning view from the first summit, One of the best in the Southern Highlands maybe. Is it just a GoPro you use or do you have a digital camera too? Another peach of a film mate, Cheers for this Alan. peter :)))
Thanks Peter yeah got abit unlucky with the weather. A hour later it cleared up after i got down🤣🤣 I use a gopro session Pete and ive also been known to use my Samsung phone camera which nowadays are excellent for quick shots.thanks for watching Pete Bye4 Alan Gregory Adventures
