  • April is "Financial Literacy" month, and those in the financial health and wellness field must remain focused on the connection between money and mental health and committed to using a behavioral model to support client change.
Those struggling with financial problems, stress, trauma, shame, and crisis need better coping skills and financial tools. Still, they also need someone who understands the nuances of their particular financial dilemma to assist them in overcoming their obstacles and issues with money.
Doing so requires a safe space to learn and talk about money, where they won't feel or be judged for past mistakes and where they have the potential to rediscover hope and make friends with their money. That's the role Financial Social Work fills!
Watch this training to learn why thousands of professionals worldwide use Financial Social Work in their practices, organizations, classrooms, and personal lives.
