Thanks! I would say I understand nearly everything in my interviews, like 95% - and this is always enough to understand the overall meaning they are conveying. I'm sure listening to more of these street-interviews in Spanish will improve your Spanish-listening skills!

I'm colombian so I can answer this one. We are a multiethnic people, the is a wide arrange of diversity of colors and cultures throught the country. Is there racism? Yep, but not like the one from the US, it's more like clacism, racism is asociated with your social class (darker=poorer). So if you are not poor and you don't act like an idiot you can live like a king.

IMO, the blonde chick is incorrect regarding dating foreigners. The language, religion and lifestyle are the key components in a culture. W/O these factors in common, it's pretty much impossible to establish a long-lasting relationship. Regardless of gender, physical attraction, financial stability, that relationship will end due to cultural differences. Sure, people are open to give it a shot, but in the end... they are going back to their default settings.
