@cassiethorpe , you can now bring it in to FENDI to have the swing ring hook’s replace place and the bag will bounce open easier. They have updated the frame in the recent year.
When I first saw this bag I was not a fan, but seeing you wear it made me a fan! I wouldn’t personally carry it but it gives me such classy vibes

Since the first time I saw it I loved this bag. Its just so unique as you said and just an all round gorgeous design. Fendi has been doing really great design wise and I hope they keep it up.. Loved your review! Can't wait for you to get the mini version (speaking it into existence for you lol)💖💖

Just mentioning, it is not recommended to attach any other strap apart from the one that it comes with or the for it introduced O-lock chain strap. Other straps tend to come off as the d-ring is not cut “sharp” enough there. Check out our new colors: Barbie Pink and Baby Blue. 😇

When I first saw pictures of it I just knew I had to have no matter what and I bought it without trying it on and could not be happier about it.
Agree with the feet and sometimes the weight of the handle can be too much especially when you don’t have alot in it.
I really would like a small one, what colour are you eyeing for now? I kinda like the silver laminated one🤍

I love the in depth reviews! I’ve got my heart set on a Bottega one of these days (other priorities in the bag department for now) and now that they have the teen size it’s perfect for me. But the Fendi first is a gorgeous bag, I love it every time I see it and the strap mechanism is just genius. The grey fabric is so cozy looking I’d probably always wear it under my arm as a cuddly luxury pet!

I adore this bag. I have the small in black leather which makes for a perfect day to evening bag. The leather strap is adjustable and so can do cross body. I also purchased the Fendi gold chain shoulder strap which takes the whole look to another level. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I have a beige medium Fendi First, in the karligraphy tweed/fabric like yours and I absolutely LOVE it!! Like you, the clasp is a bit fiddly out and about, but not a deal breaker. The weight also doesn't bother me, but I don't carry the kitchen sink so that's never an issue. Love your review, and like you, am so happy I made this purchase. I bought mine pre-loved, but was worth the little niggles that comes with buying pre-loved. Thank you for your wonderful review!

I think what I like about this bag is that it’s versatile in every sense of the word. No matter how you wear it, it would look like it’s supposed to be worn that way. It looks like a clutch when you wear it as a clutch, looks like an actual pouch when you use it that way, looks like an actual crossbody, etc.
It’s not like other bags where it’s obvious a strap was an afterthought addition in the effort of making the bag “versatile”. I’m talking about bags like the Alma or the Trendy CC. It’s obvious they’re only supposed to be worn as top-handles and look awkward as crossbodies even though they have a strap.
The design is impressive. Kudos to Kim Jones.

I’m so happy you reviewed this bag. I decided to get the classic black leather in the medium. I am very tall so the proportions are just right for me. I agree that I was drawn to the bag because it was so different. I think the F closure is just genius! I too want to add the baby version to my collection. I’m thinking a metallic would be a fun option in the smaller size. I really love your gray flannel version.

Cons or no cons, I really like this one! I got mine in the smaller size in a very pale grey with gold hardware. But I feel the fabric version should be way more hardwearing than leather. The ends of the F where the fabric/ leather is folded, I’m scared the leather might start cracking.
