He does a good job of playing Mads Mikkelsen.
Look at him in his cute little sweater. Mads. Mads. Please.
Something about Mads makes him perfect for this role. His sort of aura and accent and physical build as well as his facial features and expressions make him perfect for a psychiatrist like Hannibal. Well done Mads!!!
One of the many words that I love Mads pronouncing is "rude".

The reason I think I find Mads as Hannibal more appealing than the Anthony Hopkins version (while his portrayal was still bone-chilling) is that I saw Hannibal as a literary and a chef and more of a psychiatrist than what I saw in Silence of The Lambs, I think that in Silence of the Lambs the plot did a very good job at showing the savage side of Hannibal Lecter but the series gave the role more appeal to me, I guess reading the books before watching the movie or series would've been better for me to experience Hannibal's persona but that's just my opinion, reply if you agree so I know I'm not the only one please.

I don't usually like NBC dramas or psych/horror, but Hannibal is an exception. it's amazing watching Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen act. truly talented actors.

The more I see him play Hannibal the more he becomes Hannibal, his performance is more chilling with every episode.
I will never be able to take anyone else seriously playing Hannibal. Honestly Mads is amazing, marvelous marvelous work!
