missed out on Gandalf, I am getting increasingly consumed by anger and darkness and deep seeded jealousy, know that i am prowling the night looking to take your Gandalf away from you. Inart is the reason for my origin story
I have a feeling JND will do their own and you'll start to see Gandalf on the secondary market at a slightly more normal price lol, hopefully this price spike will pass! If it helps I got my InArt Gandalf and he was broken lol, pretty easily fixed but hopefully just knowing that makes you feel less angry lol.
I have the Joker rooted 2 pack and Gandalf. The ones I have on pre order are: - The Batman 3 pack rooted. - Aragorn rooted. - Harry Potter rooted. - Joker 4 pack rooted. Very happy with the quality InArt brings and how they listen to the community! I always enjoy your content Will, keep it up👍🏻
80% of your InArt collection is clowns!! Dude the hair on the non-teeth Pennywise is so impressive, you can see how they can do the messy hair and just add a bit of product but I have no idea how the managed to get the hair into that shape and make it look good lol
Hi Will, I finally got my rooted Jokers, what I noticed is that the shoes are not flat on the bottom ( but curved) so if the body moves it will tilt and fall, so what I did is put the stacks of the money on the floor and stuck a couple under the shoe gaps ,and now it is pretty secure and it won't move and fall.😊👌
Pennywise honestly should've came with 1 or 2 more headsculpts.. 1st being the "Tasty Tasty Beautiful Fear" face when he opens his mouth really wide to eat Eddie (same face also used when he bit a huge chunk out of Adrian in Ch.2.). 2nd being just the frowning face he has sometimes. Like when he first met Eddie, he was frowning right before he smiled and said "Where ya goin Ed?"👌🏾 That would've set this figure completely for me!🔥
For some reason, the Inart Joker doesn't photograph well. It's so frustrating because it can, and often does, give the impression that it's merely good, when in fact it's up there with some of the great customs out there. In hand the proportions look so much better, with the head looking nowhere near as large. The likeness and detail in both sculpts also look considerably better in person, just as long as the eyes aren't centered. Nice video Will, 3/3 indeed.
Absolutely agree. I didn't have any problem with the proportions while watching reviews and things, but since I have it in hands, it appears even better. And the thing with the eyes is that, and I don't know if it's just me, but centered eyes for such characters just is something that shouldn't be done, 'cause it always makes it weird, like dead or simply off. The Joker is a character whose intensity passes through the eyes and I can get why it can appears strange if centered (don't know if I'm clear)
I get you, and thanks for the reply btw. Having the eyes looking up, and to the left/right gives the portrait more of an expression, more personality. In the case of the Inart Joker though, and this is just how I see it, I think they made his iris's too large which makes the eyes look a bit goofy when they're centered. Thankfully this can be fixed by having him looking in other directions, which can hide a good portion of the iris's. This makes him look awesome - scheming, quizzical, sinister etc.
Solid figures, room for improvements but a genuine option to hot toys. Excited for pattinson batman and joaqin joker, but I hope the magnetic base issues get fixed. So far that seems to be the biggest QA issue people have.
So far all of the InArt figures have been bangers. So far the only one I would've been interested in is the Joker (Heath Ledger) but I was only looking for the purple coat so didn't end up buying it. Wish they would have a 1 rooted figure SKU for all characters they made to give collectors more options. At the moment I have The Batman preordered and will DOPO the Paul Atreides when it gets officially revealed.
If Hot Toys is like the Mercedes of 1/6 and JND is the Rolls-Royce, InArt can be perfectly fine threading the needle and being the Porsche, that's where I see it within this market, being Porsche isn't all that bad.
It's too early to proclaim JND as being the "Rolls-Royce" in 1/6. While their prototypes look very impressive, they are still prototypes, and so we'll have to wait for the production pieces to see how good both the likenesses will be and materials regarding the bodies and clothes. And, as impressive as the prototypes are, I don't think they look any better or closer to the source than Inart's Aragorn, Cavill's Superman prototypes or the already released Gandalf.
@@dangiambrone7350 Of course we'll have to wait to see final production pieces. I fully expect them to be 'better' than anything InArt or Hot Toys can muster because at the prices they're charging, they can't afford not to be. That doesn't mean they'll automatically be preferable or more desirable than InArt, which I believe will strike a happy medium in this collecting space.
I have Joker sadly sculpted hair. I wanted rooted but missed chance! I have Gandalf! He looks amazing! Wanted Pennywise with the grin and teeth but passed! I pre-ordered Superman and I can’t wait for the two pack Christopher Reeves to be put up for pre-order. I like the two pack Joaquin Joker put sadly I will pass!
Awesome Inart video, Will! It's so cool to see all the InArts lined up together like that. So far, I've got Gandalf and Joker (Standard version), just waiting on my Pennywise to make it home from Spec Fiction. But I've got everything from them on PO right now, and I think they deserve my business! I'm a bit of an outlier and I wish they had more anime characters coming besides just the Chainsaw Man figures they teased, but I'm still down for all their movie releases, and even the 1/12 line, too. I think they've got a really bright future ahead of them if they can perfect their magnetic bases and speed their production line up a bit.
I ordered Gandalf from Spec Fiction and paid in full when it was first offered. Unfortunately, I am told to expect my figure in the middle of March. Almost 6 months after it was first released. I am not sure that is a Spec Fiction or Inart thing but it kinda sucks. At least I got one ... I suppose.
Got my Gandalf last Friday stunning apart from having 2 moth holding hands and no left gripping hands but still happy contacted TW have to wait and see what say ps great vid will
Their problem is delays, very limited retailers and unreliable ones in (pop collectables and toys wonderland) and too many jokers. Year long waits is also too long as with hot toys
they just have 2 Jokers, just in different variants. Hot Toys does the same. And the retailers aren't their fault, they're fraud but that's not InArt's fault, 'cause those retailers sell other brands than InArt.
