As an improving Reinhardt main, I find it difficult to deal with Zara’s, even with the tips and the intimidation he gives with closing distance. I find myself in swing distance and still getting my butt handed to me. Even with using corners and chokes to bait and save my shield. It may be due to team composition but I feel that unless she is looking elsewhere and/or is low I can’t win against her, especially with her team behind and even with my team behind me.
A big thing is not charging her bubble and reminding your team constantly not to. It’s easy to brain dead poke at her so never hesitate to get on teammates when you notice she’s getting charged

as a zarya player, dont play rein into zarya. we can just bait you into swinging or using fire strikes/charge, feeding bubble then we just walk into your back line. As for dps, idk why he didnt mention pharah, pharah is really good at keeping a distance and poking out zarya. a good tank that counters zarya is winston actually, you can get her to waste her bubble while you dive her back line then you team can focus her down. honestly though a good tactic and sounds funny, just shoot her. do as much damage as possible to get her to use both bubbles afterwards shes just a big hitbox asking to take damage. you can still avoid waste all your abilities and bullets into her bubbles though
The rein can just fake it, and suddenly you have no charge at all, he can also fake fire strike, and he can also fake pin you with charge, and pharah is not good against zarya, because you can easily charge her, if you play very far away then she can see your rockets coming, and get charge pretty easily, the only thing In your comment that is true, is what you said about Winston, because he is actually very good against zarya, because he doesn’t give her any charge, but other than this, everything you said is false.
The nerf on Zarya kinda makes her counter herself as a character she has less defence now makes easier to pick her or her teammates just for that fact cause the nerf has basically made her more of a greedier tank in terms of it probably better to bubble herself twice in most fights to survive/get that damage charged up

I'm pretty sure she dosnt beam through his shield. It has to be broken in order to do dam. But you can run up to him if he's low and 2 bubbles yourself and just get behind the shield. Usually they will run. Sometimes it's a bad idea so you just have to look for good opportunities.
Okay now I'm just confused. You can break the bubble but you shouldn't shoot the bubble because that charges her damage. And it does mean invincibility. She can't take damage while the bubble is active. Just because it can be broken doesn't mean the bubble doesn't reduce 100% of the damage it takes.
She's invincible for 200 healthpoints. If she's on her second bubble then there's no point not shooting it since your teammates probably already charged her on the first bubble. Literally just gang on zarya once she has no bubbles

As a zarya main I always get a little excited when there’s an enemy bastion. All you have to do is bait out configuration, wait till it’s almost over, and then get him to swap attention to you for the last quarter of his minigun. Easy 80 charge and sets you up for at minimum a double pick Or you can straight up just put a bubble shield on his target right before they die. It’s really not hard to deal with a bastion as zarya, and if the enemy had a good bastion and I wasn’t playing zarya I’d swap to her to counter him. He’s absolutely not a counter for zarya unless you’re playing a vv bad zarya.
Bastion is my main character on DPS , he got me the GM and you can absolutely counter a Zarya if you play correctly, yes sorry as can do what that guy said earlier in the comment section but you don't have to feed her bubble. I saved configuration like you said for when she has like one bowl left and she stuck with not much of a retreat. Plus I call out "Zarya dies here" as I do that
1 thing I'm surprised he doesn't mention is a good bastion can melt rein, zarya, rammatra and roadhog and can bait abilities like defence matrix and sigmas orb. At lower levels he is only really weak to doomfist, orisa and Winston. I think I have all the tanks there

Bro bastion is litterly the best hero to take out zariah, when he goes into turret mode he can easily take out both of her bubbles and kill her even if she's at full health and he will still have some shots left over to take out another person if hes lucky.
I think the best plan for a Zarya would be to use a high mobility hero not for her specifically but drop her team the world try to stay behind her as a tank like using Winston especially if it selfish zarya that doesn’t bubble others, once you you have her either turned around or 1v5ing your team that would make it easier, for dps you would want sombra so she won’t be able to bubble for a bit get some good damage off and you can use bastion Ashe or pharah( to switch from zarya and the rest of the team to support the tank bit) and for support for specifically it’s probably best that you put down Ana this time but Brigitte ( I know it’s everyone’s everyone’s favorite pick but but a good Brigitte could make the difference between life and death and a real savior, while you tank is not with tall completely she will be a good substitute for what little time she can) and Moira. This was just some extra character options the characters he mentioned were already put up there so I didn’t mention them and you need variety because different situations come up. You can also use mei mainly for ice wall for those teammates that done wanna stop shooting and for the way to aggressive zarya

Going Winston and diving in with the team is usually more effective than playing rein against Zarya. She can't bubble both supports and she'll have to turn around if she wants to help leaving the rest of her team exposed. Reinhardt can absolutely work but to say he's a counter to her ain't right.
Widow is not a bad pick against her but when sombruh is in the game it's hard to beat her when it comes to countering tanks. Widow suffers if they have any flankers or divers. You also always have the possibility of them counterpicking widow and diffing you but that's a skill issue I suppose. With cordination, all you need is a good hack and a team to follow up. And EMP is just a stronger ult than wallhacks 90% of the time. All maps are also not equal. On junkertown you're gonna have a field day against Zarya if you're playing widow with a team that can keep you alive, but on most koth maps sombruh or even reaper is a better pick because of the close range nature of the map.
Lastly, as I think someone else mentioned, Ana is often a better pick against Zarya as sleep can punish her if the team knows how to take advantage of it. Hitscan and projectiles aren't that important as support as you shouldn't be focusing the tank. Bap has good damage output, but using that to kill the tank is a waste. If you hit your shots you can three tap squishes and Zarya will have a much harder time if she's fighting without her team. I don't think any supports hard counter Zarya the same way Ana counters Doom or Hog though. If I had to go with one, I'd say zen or lucio however. Reasoning being that zen's discord orb can help melt her as she's a relatively low hp tank and his ult countering grav while being quicker to build. Lucio because he's good with dive and his ult also counters hers.
You can also bait Zarya bubbles with Reinhardt by swinging and blocking immediately, and she gonna activate her bubble and you just hold block until it runs out

when I press w with shield on a zarya she just presses w towards me and kills me.
If zarya's energy is low, she can't do much against rein.
Rein is kind of a stupid pick for a tank counter tbh, sigma is a much better pick for her
