We LOVE our AG1! I did a little dance in my kitchen when you mentioned it!
Hi, Rosie, this middle section that you potentially consider as Airbnb unit is just of perfect size for chicken 🐔 cage @wildrosie 🎉
Just ordered
@@ofeliaalberto7778 Hope you like it! :)
Dear Rosie, I am 73 years old lady from Bulgaria. Watching your videos every time I am getting more and more amazed how much your skills and creativeness are growing. Your live is much more interesting than the city people. Your courage and breaveness are speechless. Every day I check for your next video and watch it with great pleasure. Go forward, girl! You are a true insperation! Love you!🥰👋🙏
I also am 73 and search daily to see if a new video has been posted with your amazing accomplishments.
And, I’m 81…from Vermont, USA 🇺🇸. I simply cannot get over what this sweet, funny young woman has accomplished and so agree with what both of you have commented. She is a wonder. I can only imagine what all is involved in setting up to capture what she’s doing via her videos. Selfishly, I wish she could do a video a week as I, too, check often to see if she’s posted another one. I love everything about her and what she’s done & is doing. ❤
I’m 59 and you are inspiring to so many people around the world. You & your videos are relaxing.
I’m 34, from Ukraine. And I love this channel. Vibe, views, music. Thank you for your work
When Rosie builds a shed I strongly consider living in it. Everything she creates is just so very beautiful.
When she stretched out full length, I thought, “She could rent it out,” and spewed my coffee when she mentioned an Air B&B! 😂😂😂
Pp😊@@terryheatwole6153
It’s a beautiful shed! ❤
"Maybe I could turn this into an Airbnb" 😂 Rosie you’re my all time favourite RUclipsr and have been for a long time ❤
Rosie you should put some flashing between the roof and the side of your house. If not you could have some wood rot issues, especially since it’s on the north side of the house and doesn’t get sun to dry things out
Definitely 💯 agree 👍
Yes, same goes for the decking in the previous video which is built flush with the outer walls as well. The outer wall is rotted furthest down already but it will not get better when water from the decking seeps into the wall planks. Looks great though :)
AND CAULK EVERYTHING!!! 😊
Not wanting to waste wood is admirable quality, clearing out space for company is priceless.
Once you are done with “scrapwood” - it is an excellent location for winter firewood.
Rosie, i love your quiet and calm videos. I admire your brave lifestye. I love that you take time to do things and dont rush through everything.
I think you give many of your followers Inspiration and a place to rest and calm down, which is very important in our fast and busy world.
You really made an impact on me how to view life, thank you for that.
Well said. I so agree. Rosie has the most incredible calming, lovely channel. Thank you so much. I always look so forward to these amazing, inspiring, videos
Ladies, another great channel is "desert drifter".
So hope your mom and dad come for a visit and see all the progress you have made, it is so nice.
It would be exciting for them to return this summer so we could watch them help her more with the outdoor projects; I so much enjoyed the “greenhouse” adventure!
Rose I am watching you from the Caribbean.I do have carpentry skills, watching you has given me incouragement to help myself.Thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness- "I already told you about this" AG1 side eyes. I laughed so hard...love it when your personality has these unexpected shining moments. Congratulations on another accomplishment!
Yeahhh, hahaha, this video was full of funny moments! Good start of my week!
Hello, under the clay tiles, you need to place a waterproof membrane to protect the wood underneath.
Just move the box for those little pieces to the other side, where the raspberry grow and you will have acess on the free side
And the raspberries will be canes for half the year, so not so bushy.
Raspberries also transplant extremely well during winter. They are almost impossible to kill while they are dormant.
thats a great idea
I just thought of the same idea mid comment. ❤ it’s a bit more work but Rosie always seems good at adapting her designs to function better
A simple solution! But her workbench is toward the raspberry side of the house so I think it would function better if she moved the raspberry bush. Fewer steps between the storage and bench which will be really handy in the winter.
I love watching your videos, but - just in case you think no one notices - I absolutely love the music you choose. Perfect.
If you ever didn’t need wood storage anymore, it would be an awesome bunny hutch!
bunnieeeeeeeeeeeeeees
Or a chicken coop
Love your channel and I literally count down the days to your fortnightly videos, I love your building craft and your positivity, I am also like minded and am building out my own Caravan to Travel Around Australia.
Like you, I love making things and designing this just for me the way I want them to be.
Keep up the great work, cheers from Down Under.
Kristie
Good luck on the caravan! Sound like a brilliant project!! :)
My husband laughed at the comment you needed to build a wood shed so you could get to the wood you needed to build it . He has the same delimia at the moment
Yay! Rosie has a new sponsor!! I am so happy for you ❤ 😊
Thank you! I was pretty excited too :) :)
@@wildrosieHave you seen Scott Carney's reporting/expose on AG1? 😬 He has a video on his youtube channel about it. Sorry to be a bit negative, I'm usually happy to see you get sponsorship and I love your videos and your work.
@@jen.... thank you for the info! Very eye opening!!!
@jen.... I got curious about this product, and I checked it out, because I am a bit nerdy with my supplements.. but was very surprised and actually disappointed that the mineral levels in this product seems to be very low, so one should go and by all the minerals somewhere else extra anyways 😅 wasn't the point that it got it all in one ? 🤔
minerals are so important. However I love that is has all the greens and herbs in it. But it just doesn't seem to live up to "having all you need in a scoop".
@@k.h.7575 The guy that started/runs the company appears to be a grifter. From what I have read from sources who I believe to be reliable, such as Scott and Dr Andrea Love, it's all about jumping on the profitable 'wellness' bandwagon. Nutrition and supplements is not a well regulated area.
I bet there's some critters watching from the woods loving their new cozy home 😅 I love your sense of humour 😊
all the fuzzy ones!!
Ask your neighbours, most houses in Sweden have old tiles.
Good idea! I cannot count the times we moved tiles, stones and other leftovers from our house building projects (and we build houses in a town district). You just keep them around because maybe, maaayyybeeee one day you will need those. Long story short: We gave tham away because if you ever need them, you ccan buy new ones and use the space they take up until then.
Yes! I have loads of them! Get in touch if you'd like me to bring them to you @wildrosie
Excellent idea.
Or Blocket. 🙂
I can't see her doing that but good suggestion.
Hi Rosie, every time I watch one of your videos, I not only get to enjoy the things you are building, but I also learn about life, resilience, how sometimes we can't have things the way we wanted or planned, and just need to accept things the way they are. You are such an inspiration as a person. ❤
"maybe I can turn this into a airbnb" 😂
If I add a curtain and a pillow, it's just like staying in a bunkbed in a hostel!
@@wildrosie It also brings back memories of childhood, wanting to sleep in the garden...
@@wildrosieit had great cubby house vibes. And if it was empty, you could prank your visitors - tell them you've added on a "spare room" for when the guest cottage is full 😂🤣, and lead them round the back of the house to the wood shelf.
@@dihayter1899 love the idea 😂
@@wildrosie😂😂 Priceless. At least you have built good quality extra sleeping quarters al fesco. 😂😂
The RUclips algorithm brought me to your channel a couple of weeks ago. Your videos are captivating and I enjoy your humour. We're in a very similar situation (and living in the same region!), although I left the UK for my own patch of forest a year before you.
Getting residency as freelancer, early days without a PN, Moms declarations, keeping the house above freezing through winter, sourcing the right materials - it's an ongoing series of challenges, isn't it?
I wouldn't swap this adventure for anything in the world though.
@wildrosie I have SO MANY of these old tiles! Let me know if you want me to drop them off with you. I was going to take them to återvinningscentral.
A Swedish capsule hotel… 😎
I absolutely recommend going back and binge watching her old videos if you haven’t already. Binge watching Rosie got me through a very rough time right after I broke a bone and had to rest in bed.
@@MelMc188 I have been doing that as I've been recovering from a nasty bout of Covid, caught after a rare interaction with the outside world. It's much better to just stay in the forest...
Your new storage would make a great log store once youve finished using it as a general wood store, its nice and handy for your back door.
Very smart.
If you skirt with a roll of roofing paper, it will extend the condition of the wood and reduce moisture.
You can overlap, to lift hanging sections and staple.
Enjoy your week.
Praise God for another female D.I.Yer! You are so clever, determined and inspirational! 🥰❤️🔥🕊️🌻🌸
hallelujah!
This is a very cute project! It might be expensive, but it adds a nice touch of personnality to the house. It clearly says "This house belongs to a woodworker". Also it matches the little deck you built. Lovely project overall, sad you couldn't finish it completely, but you're very close to the end result!
And extra expense to keep life more organised, and uncluttered, seems to me is never a bad idea
You will get more value out of your stored wood now, I think
You inspire me to get my craft room organised, as soon as I can get the weeding done! :)
Rosie. I love watching your videos. I have done a lot of my own building projects and renovations in my 77 years so I understand the dilemma. I love when you express how pleased you are with yourself when things work out. I know that sense of pride and pleasure. I too have had many moments taking a step back to look at what was just finished and say WOW I did that. Keep going , you are an inspiration to all
It'll be so nice to have your guest house back! You made it so cute, your guests will be lucky to sleep in there. Can you source old tiles from neighbours instead of buying new? And how is your fairy greenhouse doing?
When I heard the rain I envisaged a Japanese chain rain pipe near your porch ❤
The storage looks somehow Japanese. I really like the joins at the stones. Great job of utilizing used materials and tailoring the space to your needs with minimal expense.
If you like this build, check out Mr. Chickadee and his traditional Japanese builds.
Any project that keeps the wood out of your cottage and neat and tidy is worth while. Everything you do is functional and lots amazing. Nice job Rosie
Think it's worth more because you don't build rubbish and in the end thats sustainable 😊 I enjoy the jobs you tackle.
There is nothing more satisfying then a brand new box of screws...another awesome project and per usual it sets my path for something creative in my own little patch of paradise...nobody said it would be easy...but what fun, girl you give me many smiles...!!!
Your creative efforts give people (me) confidence to tackle stuff they fear might be beyond their capabilities.
Hello, Rosie! Me and my 11yo son love watching your shenanigans. Lots of love from both of us❤
The shed is adorable and functional. It looks really good!
It's what you need for now and will become whatever you need it to be in the future.
Congratulations!
It’s cute! 😊
I was just thinking… in 3 years I don’t recall you ever being sick. Is that right? If so that’s really impressive esp. considering no wood stove the first two winters.
Love your videos but I always get so sad when they end.
Look forward to Sundays with you. Your videos bring me so much peace. Thanks
Well, while you are waiting to buy more roof tiles, you can still get up on top of your newly built storage shed to scape and paint that kitchen window without standing on the tile! A win win! Love your videos and eagerly look forward to.each one. Good job!
My grandfather was working with the wood , among his other talents. Now I desire to work with the wood , too. We used to , as children. It was perfect. We crafted , what we needed. 🙋♀️
Rosie you just keep improving even when you already do a wonderful job. I wouldn't miss an episode. I also loved the drone shot of the orangey looking trees for either sunrise or the sunset
LOOOL I feel you ! I am an enthusiastic DIYer myself, and every time and again 1) before starting a project, other projects manifest themselves that actually need to preceed the initial project, 2) a project takes longer then anticipated 3) there is always something missing, that you need to go to the store for and 4) when all is said and done it costs more then anticipated.
Rosie it always breaks my heart to watch you almost always run out of supplies!!😢
That's because she's sooooo careful to make things the very best that she can.☺️. Well designed and sturdy.
Good morning from Wisconsin! 😊 You have such a wonderful sense of humor!
Hey Rosie, I’m Jayne from Brisbane Australia. I am Tasmanian born and bred until 3 years ago when I moved here to Queensland. I love watching what you have created. Look forward to the next clip!
Wow…again! You never fail to amaze me! And “Perhaps I can turn this into an Air bnb” was priceless! 😂😂😂
Rosie you are brilliant, whatever you touch looks very professional.
Really enjoy your content, keeps me amused with your dry humour.
😊 did you look in the attic for more roof tiles? We use to store our additional roof tiles up there.😊
What an excellent suggestion!
😂😂 You make me laugh Rosie.
I laugh when you give us the side eye and come out with your dry humour.
Your comments are so funny.
You built a beautiful wood storage shed that doubles up as sleeping quarters for extra guests. They can reach out and grab some bramble berries to snack on. 😂
So money well spent, no worries. 😂😂
You are just getting better and better, infact you are amazing.
Look at what you built!!
Only you could build the most beautiful wood shed.
I would buy the plastic roof barrier to lay ontop of the wood, between the tiles so that the rain and snow melt don't seep through the roof and soak the stored wood. Just a thought. And always buy double the amount of screws. 😅
Beautiful workmanship, well done Rosie. 🎉 It is a pleasure and joy to watch you create. 🎉
These leaf's sound in wind is best sound. When i walk with my dog, sometimes im standing middle of the walk road and staring up, mouth open and just stunned about the sound. When i was a baby, my grandmother placed me under the apple trees if i cried a lot. Moving of apple trees branches made me stop crying. Till today i stand, mouth open, stunned bye the soft noise of wind 😊
I just love how you make something that could be so simple as a tarp into a intricate piece of art 😊
Personally I would add that tar oil to all open ends, just to be safe.
You are just a wonder! Your commentary for the videos is priceless and keeps me giggling!
Well Rosie, sometimes things work out this way, where we've spent more time and materials than maybe we should have. But this a temp structure so time will tell. I think in the long run, it will have been worth it. Nicely built.
Rosie, you are so cute. I love how real you are about your projects. You still inspire me to go out and try making something. At 76 years old, I have the will but not the way to get er done.
Great video💜 The "I already told you about this." made me cackle😂💜
Hi from North Carolina! Not only are you a brilliant builder but also a creative genius!! Your videos inspire me!! You are beautiful inside and out Rosie! God Bless!
Rosie, even when you build a shed it is a masterpiece.
This is another grand project! You'll have the guest house cleared out, probably stuff from both the shed and inside the house too, and wood all organized. Win, win, win. And icing on the cake it looks great. Brava!
Good morning Rosie from Illinois USA. You are such an inspiration to me.
Hey from New Zealand 🇳🇿 so happy to see you back loving your skills 😅 Love your sense of humour it cracks me up 😂❤
Two things … bike helmet and safety goggles plzzzz 😮
Shed looks awesome. Yes great idea to sponsor AG1. I will try it! I am 70 and need to get into good shape.
Shed looks sturdy and well built. A must!
Cheers Rosie!
Your determination in (almost) building an outdoor scrap wood storage shed is truly commendable and reflects your creativity and perseverance in DIY projects!
And I am floating village life.
Thanks for sharing your almost-completed storage shed build. I would have been tempted to spend time in it, relaxing and listening to the wind in the trees. Your home is in a beautiful location.
I already had my coffee, Rosie! 🤣😂😘
I'm too late!!!!! :( haha
OMG that was brilliant when later in the video you were about to guzzle some AG1 and looked at us a few times and said "I already talked about that". Streak of genius that I think the sponsor will love as much as I did. Then I started second guessing myself and thinking that it might have just been all natural. Can't tell, but hilarious.
Well done, Rosie. My heart broke with yours when you didn’t have enough tiles to complete the roof. But then a look at the “finished” project… *chef’s kiss*
I love this! It's too bad you were slowed down by lack of roofing tiles! You can always use those small pieces of wood in your wood burning stove (as long as they aren't treated). I know you'll appreciate the extra storage!
Nice job building the storage shed. Just think once you use up all the wood that is there you will have a great area to store other things! Don't let things get you down when you run out of screws and supplies, it is just part of the "fun" of building things. Try to take some time off from the projects and enjoy the short Summer we have. As you know, we are now on the downward trend back to winter and the darkness again. Thanks for the videos!
I notice that the weather you have is just like ours in Bohusläns. You are making that "stuga" into a wonderfully cozy house. It gets better all the time. If you notice that you have gotten a lot done and need or want to go into Gothenburg let me know. Haga or somewhere?
my all time favorite channel to watch. you are doing such a fantastic job both working and filming. happy you have a humorous outlook !!! thank you for sharing.
Nice work on the shed. I have been carpentering for over 50 yr. I began with no experience building our own little place. It's been fun for me to watch you do the same. You are developing your own style. I loved the tiny super accurate bird's mouths you cut with your Japanese saw in your rafters. Keep up the good work and enjoy!
This project is a great idea and your choice of roof adorable! Love it. I've had to focus on garden and maintenance of property. Switching over from my "want to" projects and into the "must do" tasks is not my idea of fun.
I also have a must do list, but instead I think I'll just keep making little shelters lol ;)
@@wildrosie might be a new business for you in the future! Custom built little shelters by Rosie
It's a pleasure to me to watch another craftsperson who can't help herself. Get an idea in your head and then you have to deliver it just... exactly ....so. I laughed out loud at your last line. Thanks.
I thought the top was going to be a work bench and underneath storage. It looks great and I’m sure you’ll be able to store lots of things in there.
Three things.
It wanted to be built. Has levelling ever been easier?
It’s the prettiest lumber store.
And ii’s giving you back a guest house, space in your shed and saving your new lumber from sitting under a tarp.
It’s worth every penny.
Perhaps you can move the scrap wood box to the raspberry bush side, and feed in the wood from the opposite side?
I love seeing how you've gotten so confident on that bike - it's made such a big difference to your trips in terms of the amount of things you can bring home on the trailer. Watching you smiling as you fang it up the road makes me smile, too. Maybe you'll get into bikepacking soon!
"Perhaps I can turn this into an airbnb" ... the look on your face 💀💀💀
Somehow, I don't think you'd be into having randos turning up to stay in your wood shed for money. Introvert nightmare.
I'm finally up to "real time" with your channel and I feel privileged to have watched. Thanks Rosie, you're a rare breed, indeed.
You can definitely use it for your larger gardening supplies when it’s done housing your spare wood so you don’t clutter up the green house.
If you move the scrap box to the other end, you can load and unload the long pieces of wood from the other side and not have to worry about the raspberry bush.
Love the AirBnB idea 😂 You gotta have a sense of humor with these projects! As for your small scraps of wood? Save them for your future fire pit!
excellent... as always... regards from New Zealand
It's the nicest wood storage/shelving I've ever seen. We'll done.
I so love watching your ideas become reality, and thank you for sharing your stepping stones to getting it right 🫶🤍✨ the irony wasn't lost on me, having to buy so much wood, to house your already huge supply of wood 😂 X X Everything you create is so beautiful, because of the love and care you afford it. You should try reaching out to a neighbour, for the roof tiles, they might have a few going spare ✨
nice to see you rosie keep doing one job at a time this will keep you from being overwhelmed, do any little jobs and
get them done. prioritise things and well done
As time goes by, your sense of humor is coming out more and more. The value of the materials used to build the thing is nothing compared to the value of what you learned while building the thing. Oh! and then there's the value you give to all of us. Good job!!!
Liebe Rosie, ich schaue dich schon von Anfang an zu und bewundere deine Ideen, deinen Mut und dein Geschick. Ganz herzliche Glückwünsche zu deinem wunderschönen Leben. LG Jane
FYI, you are so skill and bad ass with your saw💪🏾. I absolutely luv watching you work, its actually soothing to me. Kudos 🫶🏾👌🏾👍🏾🦋😘💐
i think its good for peeps to see things arent always coming together for a perfect video - and hey at least its usable if not yet aesthetically complete! and in time you will store lots more in there so you want it to be sturdy so while the cost might be all ''was it worth it??'in future it will be - PLUS youve emptied out some of the stuff in that other building a little! i think this is a nifty little build youve made and it will be usable hopefully for along time!
Rosie Girl, I'm doing some of what you were doing! I've been busy on my little farm, pulling weeds, cutting limbs, hauling brush and burning it. I use that time as my 'working meditation' time. I've gotten into a bunch of poison ivy, so that's no fun, but I found a bunch of stinging nettle, so that's a good medicinal. The sting was really intense. You keep this old woman inspired to keep moving and creating. Thank you for sharing all that you do for us 'visitors' out here! Sending Love, Hugs, and Prayers, for continued success, safety, and good health!! 🥰🤗🙏 P.S. It seems like your current wood storage shed is magical. Each time you go inside, you bring out pieces of wood, but it seems like the wood NEVER runs out!!! Your place IS MAGICAL!!! 😘😘
I admire how you have built your skill set to do all the building you’re doing. What an experience!
Trash or burn anything smaller than your hand Rose. Need to set simple rules, so that you scrap pile doesn’t get to large that you can’t find stuff… looks good 👍🏼
Hi from Bulgaria! I'm utterly mesmerized by your videos - what you've been creating and that captivating manner of presenting it! There is so much soul in what you've been doing and every time I see a video of yours I feel so inspired to do something myself and to succumb to my own creative powers. Thank you!
Nice project and you were very funny this week. Enjoying your stuff. Thank you
Your shed certainly is super cute especially with the tile roof. It is a build with architectural interest making your whole cottage even more visually interesting. It's pleasing to the eye.
Excellent. And beautiful. I would think of the storage as another tool that will be used over and over. And someday can serve as convenient firewood & kindling storage. Well worth the investment. 😊
Love your subtle humor, along with your skills. While adding up the value, consider this video for your valued fans. Thank you from Texas
Love your choices of music, among other things. Thank you…
Rosie, the wood storage unit is brilliant… the design and the build is well done👏👏👏👏👏
Once again lovely job Rosie. That look you gave when you took a drink kinda said it all for me but maybe I misinterpreted. I love your videos and look forward each week. All the best from 🇨🇦 Canada!
Good to know the lovely little house is level. I hope all the rest of your projects go well before your next video drop.
Your updates are always beautiful and impress me no end given the projects you design and carry out on your house.
I would have been VERY impressed if you had hauled those cinder blocks on you bike :) Your second AG1 shot made me laugh. The way you looked at the camera, thinking, then saying..."I already told you about this." Your wood storage looks good. You may want to keep it open while you use it as wood storage to keep things from molding.
