    I started playing Table Tennis at work 12/16 and have come to love the sport. I just recently bought my own table for home and have entered my first contest this coming July. My form needs work and your channel is super helpful. Thank you for sharing this information.

    At 1:48, lower arm and wrist are not always parallel to the ground, it depends. Usually the racket is at the hight of your waistband or the hight of your belly button, which should be near the hight of the TT table.

      Watch the arm position in the following video, not parallel to the ground.

    Whenever I do my forehand drive, I end up bringing my hand and arm low. This results in me doing a forehand topspin and i go more up and down than back to foreward. Does anyone have any tips for me to change this?

    • @RobertoCostas
      @RobertoCostas 5 лет назад

      When training place something solid just (a stick, for instance) below the right way your arm should follow when recovering the initial position of the stroke. After hitting the ball, your arm should avoid touching it when moving backwards. Once you get used to the new path, remove the item and focus on repeating the movement you made before.

    >keep your lower arm and wrist parallel to the ground
    >the angle between your body and your upper arm is about 45 degrees
    >the angle between your upper arm and your lower arm is 110 degrees
    That's a contradiction
