Right chords, not exactly the right strum. Lennon uses a "shuffle" strum like a "cha cha cha" intermittently . It's not a complete straight strum.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I agree, my strumming pattern was not quite right for this, he plays a faster and slightly more complex strum than I have shown, as you say.
