I just posted this on another site after seeing Raye on SNL April 6 2024. I have never heard of Raye. This was a stunningly powerful and captivating musical performance. Her voice, her style, her look, the song writing, the incredible band (including her own drummer and her rockingly smooth basist Liv Thompson [I looked her up] who were grooving and holding down the supportive sensational ground of music that Raye performed from. It was one of those moments where everything comes together, everyone is on the same page, and you can see it in there smiles, and body language, and most importantly in the way it takes you on a wonderful journey and you are glad once again that you are human and you are here.

I saw Liv on SNL with Raye and had to look her up. She was awesome in those performances
