I bought this as a replacement for the glass switch filter holder. Works really well. But I really enjoy the single pour cups above all
Oh interesting, did you just remove the base and then pop it on to the switch base?
just yesterday i buy mugen im still in learning stage thnks for the info
Great review 👍🏼
Thanks so much!
Have you used the Mugen before?
@@TheBasicBarista You’re welcome.
No, I’m thinking of buying it or buying the Hario switch
@@adeebf97 ah yeah, very different drippers with benefits to each ☺️ if I had to choose my fave out of the 2 it would be the switch.
I love having that extra option to control my brew. Very handy tool to have for difficult coffee as well 😆
If you are interested I have more info on the switch here:

@@TheBasicBarista Thank you, and I appreciate your suggestion.
Thanks for the review, currently i'm considering to buy one but not sure since the draw down is significantly longer. Btw do you know what click should i set in my timemore to match your 25 click on commandante?
Cheers for watching my video :)
I estimate 25clicks to be around 1mm sized coffee grounds, on Timemore C2 this should be around 22 clicks however this is just a ballpark and will be slightly different for your grinder.
Happy brewing :)
I saw another single-pour method also at a 1:12 ratio which seems quite strong. Is that ratio generally unique to the single-pour, quick drawdown technique for some reason?
I suspect that single pour just extract less in general, so you compensate by using more coffee.
