I love seeing people whining in the comments of this video because they say I "spoiled" this part of the game. First of all, I am far from the only person who has posted this scene on RUclips and secondly, we all knew this scene was coming. THE GAME IS 27 YEARS OLD. Don't blame me for your skill issue. this is one of my main problem with yt, i was looking for build for bg3 and next day, youtube recommend me a video with one of the possible end as title -_-.

My brother in christ, no one needs to click the video if you're just going to blatantly spoil the game anyway. Defending yourself isn't going to 'unspoil' the game for anybody who literally just has to read a title. Being one of many doesn't mean shit if you just change the title of the video to something less egregious.

What’s the point of starting a video with “contains spoilers” when the title and the thumbnail contain spoilers?
In case someone would rather play this part than watch it on RUclips. I don’t see how that’s so hard to understand.
Cause there was a rumor where they may have let aerith live....I mean if I haven't played I would've been disappointed seeing your thumbnail too....

Search Aerith’s death on RUclips and understand that it’s pointless to be mad at my video. 😂 From people like me to gaming outlets, people are uploading this scene. Your singling me out falls on deaf ears but it’s absolutely entertaining. My channel is focused on gaming. Heavily focused on it. My ad revenue goal cares not of your feelings, but of my wallet. I love how in FFV, the crew tried to cast curaga, raise and phonix down to prevent Galuf's demise...

She represents a fixed time point, which means that regardless of any attempts to change the outcome, the result remains the same. (Fixed time points are critical junctures in time that, if interfered with, could lead to short-term success, but ultimately lead to the individual's downfall in various ways: Time automatically adjusts itself when an attempt is made to change the fixed point (Which is what happened here), the event is prevented but still occurs later on under different, possibly more severe conditions, or the consequences are shifted to a different individual, object, or entity instead of the intended target during said event.) This is why although Cloud managed to save Aerith, time instantly corrected itself, leading to Aerith dying regardless. This also explains why Cloud was unable to harm Sephiroth when he attacked him (Time preventing further attempts to tamper with it). Additionally, Sephiroth and others seemed oblivious to the glitches occurring between Aerith being unharmed and then being fatally injured (Time correcting itself). The developers intended to illustrate this phenomenon, but the characters within the universe were unable to perceive or acknowledge it due to the fact that Cloud and Aerith were the only two characters that were the center of this event (Unlike science fiction when a time adulteration occurs no one would notice it unless its around the people who have the biggest part to play in said event or are a high enough level godly being)
Aerith death unlocks Super Saiyan Cloud in a sense....
Part of the reason why I think it hits home harder in the OG than here, is how they suddenly shifted back to the epic battle, which was kind of a mood killer, whereas in the OG you got to fight Jenova with Aerith's theme still going on, which I still think it's beautiful. Even in front of a giant otherworldy monster it's still a sad/nostalgic/kinda intimate moment.
Also, and that's just how i feel about it, I think they insisted on his death a little too much during the whole story. Like, I know you already expect her to die but with the musical number and so forth they kinda went a little heavy-handed with the red flags parade.
All in all one of my very few gripes with this otherwise amazing game, is -and I understand how it can be seen as a dumb critique - how they went a little overboard with everything, so much so you don't even get the time to let feelings settle.
It doesnt hit harder, its way too much and over the top.

Maybe is nostalgy but, somehow they managed to make the old one more dramatic.
I didn’t want to see her go again, but I’m glad they didn’t change it. Aeriths death was way to iconic I feel like having her survive would take away from the story. It was devastating that she was killed and that’s what added to the good story I was worried she would live and even though I wish she did I think it would take something away from the original story if she had

It’s implied. I wish they had shown it, instead of just the blood pouring out and her hand over the wound. It’s not like video games aren’t violent these days anyway.

Actually is not really implied. Cloud seems to have acquired the ability to somehow see through different realities. We were first presented with a reality where she did not die. At some point we can see glimpses of both realities getting mixed up. Until we finally realise she was killed in the reality where we play the game. That’s why only Cloud can see Aerith after she dies. It’s not really her spirit, it’s the Aerith from the other reality who is actually alive. So we could say she’s both dead and alive.
On the original world (in flashbacks) she was killed, but it's enough to stop her death. Maybe in the Final Fantasy VII Restart we can be all surprised.
I hope we will not have to wait 4 years for part 3 and to buy PS6 to play it. Being a gamer is becoming tiring and expensive nowadays.
