I love when Med said he didn't want to say out loud he felt proud of his own work. It was like that Golem voice in his head was trying to be rude once again. And then he immediately caught himself and ended up praising the hand he drew. I'm so glad he's finally winning over that evil voice! He did do a very good job on that hand!! He shouldn't let Golem win!
The challenge really helped me a lot. Before the challenge i kinda took a break from drawing for 20 days or so (I still kinda drew but not really in a serious mindset with improvement in mind) . You kindeled my interest in art again :D Im really thankfull for that

I've recently hit this artistic funk where I'm not happy with what I'm making at the moment and it's being amplified (or maybe even caused) by the seasonal depression in the air and stress of getting presents in for Christmas keeping me down. This video as well as your sketchbook tours have been helping quite a bit. There's something about the things you create that are always a breath of fresh air. Combine that with all these lovely artists you featured in this video for me to go follow. It's really motivating me and comforting me. Making me want to pick up a pencil even if I may still dislike the results. I doubt I'd even be able to finish it, but I think I'll attempt to tackle the 500 hands challenge. It may be good for me and my current mindset with art
Phew awesome work, man! Sad I won’t be in Japan this time but hope you have a great trip. I will try check online regularly so I can join one of the next challenges! Only 74 more Disney expressions for me... I started pushing through them all again when I boarded the plane for NZ haha
Hey Ahmed, what's your opinion on holding the pencil sideways, like a life drawing person would, for that shoulder use. I saw your sketch videos and you use the tripod grip
Ah. This looks difficult but fun. I always draw hands in the same position. I'm going to try it. I really need to learn how to loosen up my hand drawings and I have a million empty sketchbooks. Haha.
