      Of course. Would hate to see these fish get blown up-they wouldn't survive any more than the minimal pressure they already get...

    Great video, this is my secret spot haha. Thanks for not blowing it up and just giving away the location. You got on some good ones! When they’re spawning around March they get bright red, that was some good flows you were fishing.

      Great little spot and many hours of research to find it. Would hate to see that place go down by someone lowing the spot.

    Cool video.
    I remember seeing steelhead swimming up some coastal waterways back when I was a kid.
    I wonder if any are left.

    Awesome vid!!! Did you need an Adventure Pass or pass of any kind to leave your truck there for the day?

      @thekurrent  2 года назад +3

      I don’t know what an adventure pass is. The only thing I needed was a good cold brewski at the end of the hike out…

    Nick shoulders. cool artist. I like the song bound and determined. "If you were country, You’d save your land from being spoiled"
    ....
    think about that line along with why you would publicize these sacred places. Do you really think every person who sees this video shares in the same respect you carry for these remarkable places and animals? What do you hope to accomplish and or gain from posting this video for all to see?

    • @thekurrent
      @thekurrent  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, very interesting artist indeed.
      To your provocation: most of the videos I share do not specify locations if it’s of concern. This particular location has been requested to be shared multiple times as you’ll see in the comments and I would, quite honestly, not be open to divulging that information. I don’t believe everyone has the same respect as I do for the places, the wildlife and more importantly, the fish. AND, as you’ll read in the description, I spent many hours of research just to find this location. I would suggest people interested in finding this gem of a species to do the same, and on their own.
      As for accomplishments and goals: a few things. I hope to inspire people to get outside (as you’ll see with my library of videos), get out of their comfort zone and experience unique places and paths. Furthermore, I’m always learning as a person-if just one of my videos provides a fellow angler, cyclist, outdoors person, etc a new way of thinking, inspiration to get outside, etc… Then I’ve accomplished enough.

    are these wild or hatchery fish?

    • @thekurrent
      @thekurrent  Год назад +4

      Mixed theories, but highly likely that they’re wild.

      @@thekurrent please share. Saw someone else post a vid about this same spot a year ago. Stil can’t find it 🤦‍♂️ you can tell they are wild thought from their color. Hatchery trout wouldn’t have lasted.
