- In this live stream, we feature an awesome Eastman Guitar Comparison with two of the company's coolest archtop models. First, we will review the Eastman AR480CE John Pisano and then we will also do an Eastman AR372CE review, which is one of Eastman’s lowest-priced archtops. Then we will compare the two to see which one has a better tone!

That sounds so damn good - so mellow and silky smooth. Not sure what that full chord style of playing is in jazz, but it epitomizes that Gibson hollow body jazz sound 👏👏

I have the 372 and love it. A surprising thing about it is the saddle is straight, ie. no compensation, and the intonation is perfect. Octaves are in tune right to the top of the neck. The Kent Armstrong pickups are certainly good enough although I would like to directly compare them with the seymore duncan pickups that are on the 480.

The Eastman guitars sound fine, but WOW !! that Gibson sounded incredibidible.
I am a huge Chet Atkins fan, but I like to hear his music played on a Gibson rather than a Gretsch.

I have an Eastman that I play through my Laptop and good speakers. What do I need to get that sound (apart from talent)?
That AR 480 sounds much better that the Gibson to me stop selling on price focus on quality

the 480 retails for 1600 us not 2000 your always quote the higher value just google it everyone sells it for 1599 new with case. You doit all the time selling on deceptive price .

Why don’t they set these things up correctly from the shop. Shame on them
its not a 2000 dollar guitar it goes for between 1250 used or 1600 brand new with case . Stop upping the price on the guitar to get your price point
