Yes, no issues with the wi-fi, but I probably wouldn't have paid that much for it on a short flight. I was surprised it was that fast, satellite internet has come a long way!
I’m glad you enjoyed it as well! It’s definitely a good value the way they bundle it all together, I hope they make it because flying is more affordable in the markets they compete in.
Last time I looked at Spirit I didn't even see an option for the Comfy or Big Front seats. Out of curiosity I checked out comparable flights from my home city to Las Vegas vs Southwest for round trip flights on the same days and the Comfy Option was over $100 cheaper than Southwest. I chose that because those were the most comparable options since both come with free carry on, drinks and snack and while Southwest lets you check 2 bags instead of just 1 it's extremely rare for me to have a second checked bag on my flights. The Big front seat option ended up being an additional $100 more than Southwest for the round trip (NOT each way). Honestly Spirit's marketing department is REALLY dropping the ball on letting people know that those options are out there and are undercutting SW either in price or added comfort and add-ons (free booze and WiFi).
First time flying Spirit last week! It was a terrific experience! I initially opted for a Comfy seat from Atlanta to NYC! However due to a job request for an extra assignment I ended up rescheduling for no extra cost! On top of that I ended up rescheduling one additional time as my job actually had me do a trip to Florida! This turned out to be another blessing as I was not only able to reschedule for free a third time but the big comfy seat option from Orlando was the same price as my original seat out of Atlanta! Everything from Check in to arrival was spot on I love the automated check in and bag drop (A customer rep was close by with any needed assistance)! Since I had plenty of time to check in before departure I skipped the security line escort (I cleared the regular security line in less than ten minutes)! Sitting in the first row and not even having a seat mate was an added plus! The flight attendant was friendly and very attentive coming around multiple times offering free snacks and beverages)! My only gripe was the flight was initially delayed due to the inbound aircraft being caught in a ground stop in St Kitts and the delay being texted a few hours before the flight)! To my surprise they actually found a substitute aircraft and the flight boarded on time! Unfortunately flight were stuck on the late inbound flight and we sat at the gate for over an hour (big communication error on the gate agent's part by loading a plane without a flight crew)! A further delay was due to the lead Flight Attendant's passenger information screen not working further delaying the departure! Unfortunately they weren't able to fix it and this in turn kept the Wi-Fi from working! The flight was extremely smooth and we arrived an hour late! The best part was arriving in the LGA Marine Air Terminal which Spirit has exclusive use of! Eighty years prior Pan Am Clipper boars used to fly to Europe from here! It was a quick taxi to gate, only a four minute walk to baggage claim, and my bags arrived within ten minutes of arrival! I definitely would opt for the comfy or big front option again (by comparison both Dela and Southwest wanted between $100 and $159 more for economy!
Thank you! That is a long way but I'm sure it was still worth it. We went to Seoul & Busan around 10 years ago and it was amazing, I hope to go back again soon!
The train doesn’t go from Orlando to Texas unless you stop in Chicago first - wouldn’t have made it in time! Last minute flights right before a hurricane are usually expensive.
Flight was full, you board first with the big front seat. I’ve never seen a RUclips video sponsored by an airline, please leave a link if you find one!
I'm shocked the wifi was that good. Heck, I didn't know Spirit even offered wifi in the first place. Good to know!

We flew from fll to bna in big front seat and it was great. Free carry-on, free checked bag, free internet, and free snacks and dri ks.

I agree they could do much better marketing this, although I did see a great ad for the big front seat recently. It is definitely a great value!

@@troybellamy4615 wow, that's awesome - glad to hear you had such a great experience!
I’m flying next week in a big seat as well
That’s awesome, enjoy your flight! ✈️
Love the video just took a flight from Florida to Korea using Delta and it was def painful haha, Great video man!
Thank you! That is a long way but I'm sure it was still worth it. We went to Seoul & Busan around 10 years ago and it was amazing, I hope to go back again soon!
Fly the day before the cruise and all will be worry free
Yes, very true! Don’t do what I did! 🤣
Sister spent 4G to get home?? This is hard to believe, they take the train

The important word being "they" spent 4k. At least one other person with her from the sound of it, possibly kids as well?
Yes, exactly - Spirit cancelled their flights for the whole family last minute before a hurricane so there weren’t many options.
@@HDjeff I really have to ask. Was the flight cancelled for weather related reasons? Because that's hardly within the control of an airline...
Poor timing of this
No denying that, I got the bad news when the flight landed. Hopefully they come out stronger like all the others.
Flight looked empty, probably sponsored

Not everything is a conspiracy ace!
