All jokes aside, i love how that horse was clearly being playful by simply "smacking" her and not kick her full power.
I don’t, horses can easily cave our skulls in if they wanted to. Simply seeing a horse being playful with its hooves towards someone’s head is deeply concerning, because it shows a lack of understanding from the horse towards its abilities to hurt someone, especially by accident. Maybe it’s because I grew up around farm animals and was always warned to be careful around horses by uncle Jim, not my uncle, an expert handler with a horse named Joey who he raised from being a fowl. Jim was very strict in his way of approaching animals as animals, even if he had built up relationships with them it would not enable him to risk his safety. But one day Uncle Jim was standing by the fence as Joey ran up to him, Joey stopped at the fence and was delighted to see Jim. As Joey put his head over the fence for Jim to rub his snout a snake appeared at the horses feet between Joey and Jim. Joey took notice and got pretty damned spooked, the horse turned its rear to the snake, and coincidentally uncle Jim, Joey then began to kick at the snake and stomp towards it before sprinting off. While uncle Jim was safe behind the fence. He recognized how the situation could of gone if he had stood next to Joey or in the pen. And if someone cannot understand what uncle Jim was afraid of, or showed a lack of understanding towards a humans fragile skull and a horses anxiety leading to an accident. They would be banned from interacting with the animals.
This story is a kid friendly one, Uncle Jim was very serious about how we approach animals without neglecting our own safety or the animals. Because he had seen people get their heads caved in, ribs crushed, legs flattened, arms shattered, and then in turn the animal would be killed, eaten, or however people seek to ease their pain from family members or themselves idiotically approaching an animal and getting hurt.
@@Polar_Bear7 damn bro it ain't that serious lol. I do get what you are saying. In my opinion, and neither of us knows the animal in question, the horse knew very well how to control its strength, because as you said it could've easily caved her skull in, but it didn't. So there's that.
So, at least to me, it seems clear that the horse knows what hurt and what does not, and it was clearly restraining its strength.

When animals and humans mix, if the animal "misbehaves" it's actually usually the human's fault for not listening or comprehending the animal's body language. We communicate mostly verbally. Most animals communicate in body language. "Listen" to their body language and that'll tell you what you need to know. How do I know this? I've raised livestock for 24 years and each time I've gotten hurt by them, it's been my fault for not "listening" and paying attention.
