YO, LUNATIC EYES Fun story, Reisen was the character from which I was introduced to Touhou. I was looking up images on the internet for research and then I came across this bunny girl that in some images was depicted as this total woobie, but other images depicted her as a scarred war veteran with death in her eyes. Too many for it to be a one-off joke, so I asked a friend of mine what the hell was going on and then he said "oh, it's Touhou." Then when I realized what was going on, I had all the games, was listening to the OST and its remixes, playing fangames, writing fanfiction and now I'm like... "Yep. All because of a single bunny girl." Tenshi's my absolute favorite nowadays, but I'll always owe Reisen a great deal of love for introducing me to one of my favorite franchises around, one that actually made me realize my actual love for writing!
The same thing happened to me, but it was Sanae that inspired my love of the series. One of my online friends put her in the story as an NPC in one of our RPs. Nowadays, Yuyuko is my favorite, but much like you and Reisen, I’m grateful to Sanae for introducing me to this amazing series. I write death metal songs, mostly about Touhou, and I even lift some leitmotifs from the music of the series sometimes to augment the presentation of the songs.
Always knew what Touhou was, but didn’t get into until listening to one too many tracks and getting sucked into the rabbit hole. The last straw was Eirin’s theme, and my favorite character is Marisa
There's a mod for Terraria that replaces all the music in the game for Touhou music and Lunatic Eyes was one of those themes that got used. It was used for the world eater which is a giant worm with many eyes and now every time i Hear Lunatic Eyes, I imagine fighting the World Eater
Dunno if anyone will agree with me on this, but I really want to hear Richard cover Pierrot of the Star-Spangled Banner or, even better, Pandemonic Planet.

She has some neat vocal Touhou covers, is pretty popular with the western Touhou community, and I don't think she'd mind a bit of collaboration.
