They need to change this so you don't have to plug in the ac adapter. My son's port went bad so I couldn't transfer the data even though I had a charge before it died. I'm so upset about it, he lost a year worth of playing splatoon 2.
Wait a minute. My Switch is bent and has a crack, but it still works completely fine. So if Nintendo wasn’t able to fix the crack, bend, or both for any reason, they’d be able to just transfer my save data to a new replacement switch?
Could you check whether Nintendo switch works without battery in the dock ? . I am asking in case my nintendo switch battery dies. After removing the battery , will i be able to take the console to the dock and play normally on my tv without battery while docked ?

Absolute joke that Nintendo did not have a safety net for this stuff. Just the ability to save stuff to a memory card would do but no. I've had to send mine off recently and have just been informed I've lost all my digital content purchased on the nintendo shop AND all my save games.

I got $130 for Christmas and i really want to get a New Nintendo 2ds and my mom can pay $20 for it. I had a Special super smash bros 3ds and it broke. I dont have to get games for it cause i already have 3ds games. I just wanted to know if it is worth it?

Hi, if you have PS Plus then the games saves will be saved to the cloud. If not then you can save the game saves to a USB dongle. Have a look in the settings and you will see the options. Don't sell your old PS4 until you are happy everything has transferred over. I did a video on saving Game saves to USB a couple of months ago which may help.
Question if I’m all physical copy no digital If I buy a new switch can I transfer my save data to the new one ? So when I put the cartridge in it would be as if nothing happened.
This is the best form of backup 10/10 you only need to pay for an extra switch to be able to backup.

Goosi GD you need a computer or laptop and then you transfer you data from there
Yes or you can also redownload them from the eShop when you put in the bigger card.

Physical and digital both save onto the internal memory so yes you can transfer your save data to a new Switch.
