  • I've found journaling and meditating certainly help with the anxieties of life. But at times we're often too busy to consistently incorporate it daily. There is one technique that has helped me consistently over the years - transforming TRX workouts at home into a form of meditation with 'mind-muscle connection'.

    8 years ago, I turned my life around. I also got my first TRX as a way to get rid of anxiety of what was going on in my life. I quite drinking; and had therapy for my thoughts. My TRX was an instrumental piece in relaxing my brain/mind. The “side-result” was it transformed my body into a fit and healthy guy, inside and out! Thanks Adam for posting this. People don’t realize how great these can be for them. 🇨🇦👍🏼

      Inspirational to hear Barry, thank you for your honest comment. Massive props to you for your journey and the strength and insight you’ve gained. I debated whether I should post this video because I doubt it’s any good for views or algorithm but it’s something I hold close to my heart and something I truly believe can help many people when practiced.

    Agree….Arnold always told that “put your mind into the muscle you are working out”
    It’s kind of a meditation.

    I’m still brand new to this whole M2M business lol. But yeah, it’s great! I’ve never put much thought into the movements before. And of course that’s fine. But this approach is far more enjoyable, even as frustrating as it is being a newbie learning how to mindfully control some muscles. It’s a fun challenge though!

    Hey Adam. Thanks for all this content, I just got my trx and I am using your videos for learning. I have one question, how much squeeze or tension you put in your movements? If I try to squeeze my body parts for too long I feel very fatigued. It 's like my nervous system gets tired. Do you give a "' full on squeeze" or just a bit of tension and mind connection is enough?

      Pleasure, it's something you will improve over time, it's a form of training in of itself, just squeezing the muscle (posing) known as isometric training. You want to be connecting and contracting the muscle as hard as you can in each rep, especially at the top of each exercise.
