I went to u pull it for the 1st time I don't work on cars hate gettingmy hands greasy(never wanted to learn) but this was pretty easy I couldn't let the boyz n the hood have a free go at the jeep thanks!!!!!!!!!!
I took my car to the shop and they were trying to charge me $100 , but after I watched ur video, was able to fix iit and this also the very first time I fix my car .
Just want to say thank you for the video! Out of the blue I had the same exact switch go out in my 2014 patriot. I had to spend 3x’s the amount at the dealer for a new switch immediately as I don’t have a place to park with my window stuck in the down position. Took me 5 to 10 mins to change this part and it’s fixed and working!!! As a 61yr old woman, I’d say not a bad job!
Thanks for this easy install video. It helped tremendously! I found that the after market switch may be just slightly larger than the original. I had to do a bit of thinning to the new switch housing. 2015 Jeep Compass. Only a few 1000 larger, but it made a difference in reinstalling. Took an Emory board and thinned the front and back just a little and bam dropped in with little resistance
How do I know if it’s that or the window motor?
If you hear noise when you press the switch its the motor then if no noise its the switch
Thanks @@geefamz7172
How do you know its Rear switch or main switch
