Hello. The flight name will be displayed on the check in counter. In IGI terminal 3 they are the same for domestic and international flights. When your flight name being displayed for check in you can go and drop off the bag.

For students. Your Passport + admission offer letter + ticket will be asked for sure by an immigration officer. Then case to case basis the officer may ask some more questions, so carry everything related to admission and accomodations in your hand bag. Sometimes after seeing passport+visa+ticket they just let you pass, but sometimes they do ask a lot of questions. So it depends on an officer interest in your profile.

Yes cabs are allowed you to drop you till T3 IGI departure. You can see in the video, that we too came through cab only. Actually, autorikshaws are not allowed to drop you to T3. Metro and Bus are some options to reach here.
International Flight ke liye aap kam se kam 3 hours pehle pahunche. Agar IGI se morning ki flight hai, then I will recommend 4 hours before. Morning ki flights ke liye immigration kaafi slow rehti hai aksar. Bag limit aapke ticket me mention hoga exactly, waise standard 20 kg for check in bag and 7 kg hand baggage ka hai.
For the return journey you will get a new boarding pass from your origin airport. If you are travelling internationally, At the time of return the immigration officer will ask for your boarding pass, so keep it safe till then (some people throw it away after alighting from plane straigntaway, and get into trouble at immigration - extra questioning). If you are planning to purchase anything from Duty free, you have to show the boarding pass.
Hello. People (especially staff) in the airport will definately guide you through the process to reach the plane, when inside the airport. In Delhi (domestic & international) Airport there is a premium meet & greet service available (www.newdelhiairport.in/meet-greet-services) : Airport Assistance Services, which can assist you through the process, but its costly. I recommended these service only for senior citizens.
Hello. At Indian immigration, an immigration officer could ask you for a return journey document. But to me it never happened, even if I was going for a 4-5 days trip. So the chances are slim. But the immigration officers at the destination airport (foreign) they will defanitely ask you for a return journey ticket if you on a a short stay visa.

No sir, nowadays it's not required in Delhi. But this requirement also depends on the country you are going or transiting through. I would recommend to keep the certificate at least in your mobile. May be during journey, Immigration or on arrival you might need it.
It should not take more than 1 and a half hours. If the bag would have been already checked-in, the only thing which might consume time is immigration.
