I actually loved small brawl. As a kid it was awesome. Level design was absolutely superb. It was awesome to see playsets/kitchen asthetic used in a car combat game. It tried something different and it worked with me.
I gave Warthog Grasshoppers vehicle, so we didn't have to cut him due to time constraints. Also Sony made us pull Minion due to his demon origins in a kids game and Trapper was substituted. We also made the game easier for kids, but you should try hard mode.
@@AnthonyKusanagi101 me and my cousin did too.. he was killed in prison a few years ago.. nice to watch these and remember playing endless hours to unlock people
s/o to that Brave Little Toaster reference. I love that song even though that scene straight up traumatized me as a kid and is 100% the reason I get emotionally attached to possessions of mine
Dude, honestly this channel re-ignited my love for these types of games. The show kinda deserves its own review from a fan if I'm honest. And I can't wait for the contrast of 2012 to Head-on and see what that lights up like.
I remember my brother in law had a cd burning device and we would rent the games from the store and return them the same day we had every game possible wow what a good time
Hey man, just wanted to thank you for making these videos. I had to go through some real health issues over the past while; chronic pain, a bunch of treatments and procedures, emergency surgery, and some disfigurement as a result of it. I'm really glad that shortly before I got sick, youtube decided to recommend me your channel through your twisted metal black retrospective, and I immediately ended up subscribing as a result. Your stuff might not get a lot of views, but all through my illness and recovery I've really had a lot of help from your videos, new and old. I know it's cheesy and I never figured I'd be one of the people writing this type of comment, but sincerely, thanks for making things a little easier.
I really wish you had a link to your social media accounts brother cause you are doing an absolutely fantastic job! I feel like your channel is highly underrated for the excellent work you do on your videos.
I know alot of people don’t like this one for obvious reasons. But it’s personally my favorite, because it’s the first one I played and I was basically the target demo at the time cos I was like 6 or 7 lol. I also think the premise of being in all these realistic ish environments where everything is huge because you’re an RC car is pretty fun lol.
on Tree Top Rumble the best strategy as Mr Slam is to grab an enemy with your special and throw them off the opposite side of the tree house(where there is no trampoline) can beat the level in mere minutes that way.
This was our favorite Twisted Metal. The ingenuity, the creativity, the grim yet goofy variation, the relatable backstories, the excellent soundtrack (Gridiron Gore), the level design and secrets were phenomenal (a gold course, cinema, a kitchen, the carnival map with moving parts), the memorable boss battles, the unique abilities, the tongue in cheek humor, and it fits perfectly in the Army Men 2 and de_rats format. Beautiful game and I will never understand the hate for it.
Actually, the Bedroom stage in Twisted Metal 4 and the fact RC was my fav character in it with his triple rainbow missle made me want a RC version of the game so I felt like this was targeted at me at the time it came out.
About the Grasshopper/Warthog Grasshopper had a complete model, but no cinematics, and Warthog had a cinematic and no model(they were planning a RC Sherman) so they gave Warthog Grasshopper’s model
It's a shame your uploads are so infrequent but I get it, you put a lot of work into these. You should consider doing another series like you did with the Scarface game Edit: 24:09 hey it's me! That was quite unexpected
9:43 Now I can't stop imagining Van Pelt standing on the sidelines with a remote control dedicating just a few minutes of his precious time just to make a child cry... XD
Been watching since you did the Mercenaries play through. You're a great creator and even though I didn't play these twisted metal games growing up, you keep me chuckling through my long hours on the road. Thanks again for another good video 👌 👍
Aw man, I stumbled across your channel and have rinsed every video 😂 I honestly love your dry delivery, I usually don’t like talk overs on videos but yours are the very reason I watch them! More! Encore!
And thank you for your reviews this series, they evoke nostalgia for the days when my friends and I spent a lot of time playing these games (despite "taste like AHHHHHHHH" 😁)
I actually really like this Twisted metal. Its a shame they didnt develop it for the ps2 though. I came out after black, so it seems silly they didnt also have this on that system, but oh well.
I didn’t play that part before and I don’t like it much but a really love twisted metal, any way you are the the best RUclipsr I’ve ever seen because you are playing these games that no one cares about anymore, thank you 👍
Screen love your content bro I've been subbed since you began your play through of mercenaries playground of destruction and enjoyed every minute but as a good subscriber I thought it would be my due diligence to suggest a game. An old one that me and my brother used to play back in the 2000s."Monster jam maximum destruction" I don't know what you can play it on but me and my brother just played it on the PS2. Keep up the good work it's fantastic
this game is honestly over hated and 2 is over loved small brawl is a really fun game with surprising attention to detail despite its short production time and sony being well sony. tm2 is still fun but it definitely deserves a lot of criticism
Even though the tone of this game looks a little lighter than some previous titles I think it does a better job handling it's dark humor better than 3 and 4 did. I also like the roster of characters with so many from TM 1 and 2, seeing Twister, Crimson fury and Slam all over again made me really happy. I also think the shooting in this game feels a lot more solid and stronger than TM 3 and 4
This game is almost as easy as TM2. I enjoyed it when I played it. I had similarly envisioned how to do such a thing as a kid with rc cars, not knowing Battlebots was a thing lmao
The RUclips overlords claimed a song at the end... I muted it, so it sounds like garbage now lol. Apologies.
tell us the name hahaha

Man, I love your style and humor. In a previous vid you mentioned you didn't have much time to make these vids so I appreciate them greatly.

this was my first game that i played from the franchise. i loved it tbh. so many memories with this game
