I only have a brother who has recently immigrated to another country and I lost the love of my life a few years back so I'm basically very lonely and sad at the time. Mark, I suffer from the exact same problem, I could go weeks / months being absolutely fine but then I will have a week or two where things (even the smallest) will seem impossible and I will snap back all the time.
I have ideas and aspirations to achieve goals all the time but during these days I honestly just feel there is no point and I don’t even trying.
For me I do keep things in and only talk to my best friend.

Today's show was so good mental health and depression is something i've gone through in the past 6months i live alone work alone lost my mum 3years ago and the last 6months my mental health has been deteriorating i'm just good at masking it but today's show was so relatable we're human and there times we don't feel like ourselves i want to say thank you for the united stand community you guys keep me engaged and i always look forward to the watch alongs and the live streams we're all here supporting you because you do so much for alot of us you have no idea, Stay strong its good to share because there times you bottle emotions and then you reach the edge. I myself have been having this conversation with my family recently, after bottling things up for so long. Just talking gave a degree of catharsis.
It's not easy today, especially in the online space. As you alluded, not necessarily the toxicity, but the constancy.
Today there is always a constant noise, a constant mode of contact that can feel invasive at times.
It's harder today than ever to disconnect, for a moment of peace, whether it be work emails, phones 'pinging' constantly, and the depersonalisation of screen-to-screen contact.
People don't communicate in the same way as they did before, people say things digitally they would not say person-to-person so freely.
A lot of people also suffer, as I have with offices shutting down, working from home, and feeling caged in a digital prison.
