19Bozzy92 Keep up the great work. 1:03 I was fortunate enough to be standing on the apron of Indianapolis Motor Speedway and see the Lotus Type 56 Turbine sliding through Turn 2. It was so fast it was grouped with the 1970s car even though it ran in 1968
I'll do it for sure! Really glad you had the chance to see that Lotus in action back in the days, I would be really curious to see it driven properly on a Speedway
19Bozzy92 It was very much like the Penske PC-23 Mercedes Benz Ilmor push rod engine. It took about 2-3 laps to get up to speed due to it only having 1 gear but the 4 wheel drive made it absolutely planted in the corners... and that was from a car from 1968!!! Sometimes modern Indycars look more twitchy

Thanks for making this available Bozzy! Reminds us of how brutal the older F1 cars really were, and even though the contemporary cars are quicker, and maybe I'm a Luddite - I'd still rather see (and hear) Formula 1 cars with proper multi- cylinder, fire breathing internal combustion engines.

2:48: One of the most beautiful cars in F1 history.
4:42: Very distinctive, the Brabham Fan car.
6:02: Really love the Benetton livery on the Alfas. But this an modified Alfa Romeo 183T from the year 1983.
6:23: The small rear wings look so stupid...
7:13: Fuck Formula E!!! The climatic change is not caused by man and there is still enough fuel on earth. We don´t need this shit.

All those banging on about the sound- please dont- they did sound loads better, but also they were deathly unreliable, incredibly inefficient and used more fuel in 1 race than a modern car would use over a weekend. Yeah it was incredible and a sensory experience but the sport is better as a whole because of it, and especially in this day of climate change and becoming carbon neutral a hybrid 1.6l v6 gets away with it but if they still used thumping great v10s and 12s, going through literally 20 tonnes of fuel a weekend the sport would not stand a chance against the (rightfully ) environmentally conscious governments
