Gives a silly apology and expects to be forgiven instantly like a selfish child. But, she's like Katherine for getting information out of him that he was withholding and being a douche about. Sure lol. Damon lawyers are something else.

Elena "tricking" him with WELL DESERVED distance and guilt tripping him does not compare to Katherine's pathological behavior and the amount of shit she has done to hurt everybody, but specially the brothers and specifically in this case Damon... Anyone who thinks that comment carries any validity is going to have to explain that false equivalence; the comment was design to be shock value over substance, for him to get a jab after Elena hurt his feelings, not because he actually thinks that Elena is behaving "just like Katherine"

The comment Damon made was so unfair imo. Like let me get tthis straight: *You* kill my brother and have complete disregard for his life all bc your ex-girlfriend said she didn't love you and you expect the utmost grace??? Come on.
All Elena did was not tell him if they were friends or not. Katherine literally fed on and manipulated both Stefan and Damon up until their death only to abandon them both after they turned.
i know there are no irreplaceable actors but i just can't imagine anyone but candice accola as caroline. she's good at giving nuance to a character that would normally be a total cliché. (vampire or werewolf? no! i want to be Han Solo! do you remember who he's married to?😊)
To answer your question, I would be a vampire for sure, for that same reasons definitely. I would do almost anything for immortality.

Vampire definitely. Werewolf gene comes with aggression. Later on in the show I would change my answer but can’t spoil it.
1:22 NICE DEFLECT Jenny! 😂I love hearing y'all talk about whether you'd want to be a vampire or a werewolf, though I'm not gonna lie, I expected JD to say Vampire -- if only because I think JD would be a badass vampire. I like the way we're following the journey of a new vampire through Caroline's eyes. When you compare her to Vicki -- and obviously she had a lot of stuff going on that influenced how she behaved -- with Caroline, I feel like, yes, she's heightened in terms of her emotions, but it's also heightened her awareness. The scene with her and Matt where she gets him to break up with her, I feel like that took an awareness of her behaviour that she didn't have as much of as a human, and I don't think she'd have been able to do that when she was. Obviously if she was human, she probably wouldn't need to, but the point still stands. I love the Mason thirst! 😂 Also I love the appreciation you all have for the acting talents of the cast! I dunno, it's nice to talk about it!

Maybe an unpopular opinion but my least favorite character is this whole show is Elena but all my respect to Nina for being able to play both Elena and Katherine
Regarding Bonnie you have to keep in mind that witches hate vampires so it might be some sort of feeling she can control

It's not unpopular. Lots of hate towards Elena, especially in the later seasons. People excused a lot of the other characters bad behavior but never excuse her for some reason, which always made me angry, because I loved her (Damon and Bonnie as well)
@@tarukaja8 most of these people are jealous of Elena and rationalize their own hate, while excusing mass murderers and raplsts in the same breath. That's just humanity for you.

@@ShiningLightlol jealous of what? she's a fictional character 😅 I used to love elena but she ended up getting on my nerves in the later seasons. Although I agree Elena is a better person overall than a lot of the other people on the show, the difference is for entertainment value, they're more interesting to watch. Also in defense of characters like Damon, we know he's supposed to be a bad guy. When he does something bad, it's not excused within the show. However Elena is constantly shoved down our throats as the good girl that we're supposed to root for, yet in later seasons she does start acting very unlikeable and selfish (ahem vampire genocide) yet never gets called out for it, cause she's the girl everyone does anything for, which is irritating. Its nothing to do with humanity or jealousy lol. They're not real people.
@@cherryfrecklethat’s still unfair. Elena has no control who puts her value over everyone else’s. That’s my main gripe with this argument, why not get mad at the characters who always put her and her opinions first? I.e. everyone except Damon and Bonnie who constantly disagrees with what elena wants reguarding plans and ideas. Elena is a great character sure there are times where she is selfish and selfless. Literally could be said about every character.
