Absolutely marvelous project. Don't forget that it was and is perfectly useable on normal roads and in traffic. We got near the 200 target so knew it was on - delighted that it finally made it even though it took over 40 years. Great job by the new owner and the restoration team and of course the original team. A great privilege to be involved both then and (peripherally) now. I remember seeing it on the back of a lorry going south on the A3, shortly after I heard it had been sold abroad in the early 80's.
