It might have been why Shop at Home went under. I probably stopped watching that network in 2000, and I remember that whereas he dropped in from time to time in '96-'98 or so, he was on *constantly* in '99 and 2000, even with things that weren't related to sports cards. They closed shop a few years later.
Man....Kenny had me on the edge of my seat waiting to here what was in the 'Triple'.....and buying a case, damn, I bet it was a Lenny Dykstra bat in every single case....lol.....good stuff
Three guaranteed autographs, one certified. So one autograph and two defaced pieces then. I got one of those Karim Abdul Jabbar the football player autographs, by the way. My biggest regret is how mercilessly I hounded my poor parents in the middle of the damned night to let me make that investment.
@TheGreekMan1981 I never got tricked because I always knew they used no-name graders who would slap 10's on just about everything. I go to card shows sometimes I've seen PRO graded 10's which would easily regrade to about 7 or 8's from PSA. PRO is garbage!
RIP Don West, the true GOAT of pitchmen.
Decades later they got me wanting to call and order this set. Rip Don West
Phone lines are jammed. Stay on the line!
Anytime I heard Ken Goldin was on the show “click”

Loved these guys!
So glad I held onto that Alexander Daigle rookie card...
Be dialin' people, be dialin'!
Not sure what happened at 0:33 onward but it had me on the floor laughing while looking at Don's mustache'd face in that repetitive motion.
Operators are "STILL" standing by!
I miss shop at home, Don West and sports card collectables show.

$600 Rahim autographed card??? No wonder Ken Golden never was live in the studio. I don't think he could have kept a straight face.

I wonder how many people heard they pulled a Karim Abdul Jabbar auto and thought it was the basketball player
I always wondered why my Beckett had much lower prices than the one Don used.
brand new 22 years ago
"that's a 500$ card " 😂😂😂😂😂
@4:25 $600 Shareef Abdur Rahim!?!? I'm starring at the price of it in a 1997 beckett future stars, and it wasn't no $600...
Those 3 autographs in that box aren't worth $5 if you sold them in a lot today. The rest of those cards are worthless.
Idt they are real autos
Someone needs to update these with AI into 4K for the late night memories 🤣
Lenny Dykstra bat! 😂 😂
BRAND NEW PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah,30 plus years ago.lol
i was dying when i saw that kareem abul-jabbar .... the football player.

Othella Harrington? Not a stiff autograph in the bunch? What is Kenny smoking?
At the time, he was marketed as the successor to Ewing-Mutombo-Mourning. G-Town Centers.
That’s about a $600.00 card
Shareef Abdul Rahim a 600.00 card? I guess the value went down a tad since
id only pay 550 for that rahim auto not 600
Othello Harrington , HOLY CRAP!!!! THE DEALZZZ KEEP COMIN!!!

TROY AIKMAN AUTOGRAPHED PLAQUE
Kenny, Ken Goldin, started serialized cards and guaranteed autos per boxes. Marketing genius. Autos per box has become commonplace now.
Who can forget about Kenny?
Rahim at $600 !!!! That's a STEAL !!!!
@TheGreekMan1981 Yeah, Sandy Koufax definitely doesn't belong in there with GREATS like Lenny Dykstra listed
LOL
Ken has a triple from that card :oP
Kenny's on his cell phone in the next room

@applesauceman Beckett sees all.
