Second it was originally single bladed and changed to double bladed (without a noticeable change to its length). If you look closely Wim IS holding the saber with an emitter up. Also, if Wim is about 12-14 years old there's no way a UBER Jedi fan like him would make the mistake of holding a lightsaber with the emitter down (unless it has two emitters). I'm just saying.
