The Magnificent Seven is a 1960 American Western film. I like this film! It's a pity that many of the actors are no longer alive 😢
it was made sixty years ago. i would have been surprised if all of them were alive. what's surprising is that many of them died relatively young
Several of them died at relative young age to like Steve McQueen at age 50 in 1980 of lung cancer and Yul Brynner who died in 1985 at age 65 of lung cancer. Eli Wallach one of the oldest cast members outlived many of actors playing the good guys. None of them are any longer as the last surviving cast member of main cast Robert Vaughn died in 2016
@@scottknode898 - Steve McQueen died of mesothelioma, a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. He may have been exposed to it while he was in the Navy. He also wondered if it was in the lining of some of his racing outfits. It is a very lethal form of cancer. The mesothelioma survival rates is typically 4-18 months after diagnosis, but some have lived for longer than 10 years after diagnosis. The current five year survival rate is 10 per cent.

@@andreichivu7653 I knew they are dead to many of the golden era of Hollywood actors, directors etc have passed away and so many died at a relatively young age from cancer, drug overdoses, smoking related deaths or alcoholism etc

Everyone pictured is passed on, most from cancer, lot of smokers back then.
It's unfortunate to hear that many of the individuals pictured have passed away, possibly due to smoking-related cancer. Health awareness has improved over time.

Was this filmed near a nuclear bomb testing facility? A major portion of these actors died of cancer 🤔
While it's a possibility, it's important to consider various factors before making conclusions about the actors' cause of death.
That was the John Wayne fillm The Conqueror in 1956. Actors like Steve McQueen and Yul Brynner died lung cancer and were both heavy smokers although McQueen was also around asbestos as he used race cars with it in suits and worked a ship removing asbestos lagging from pipes while he served in the Marines. Many of actors from the Conqueror died from various types of cancer including John Wayne himself and the director Dick Powell but many of them smoked as well.
When the remake of The Magnificent Seven was released in September 2016, the only members of the original film that still alive were Petra (Rosenda Monteros) and Lee (Robert Vaugn). Robert Vaugn died two months later after the release and Rosenda Monteros died two years later in 2018.
