I am a quilter, but I always watch your videos because I always want to 'strech' my sewing skills! I am always in awe of your command of the English language! You use technical & slang so proficiently! You inspire me so much. Greetings from Michigan, US.

I’ve read the book and made countless tennis skorts, leggings, tops and warm up tops. The book was priceless. I’ve even purchased a cover stitch machine for these projects. The supplex ( easily purchased in the USA on Amazon) is fantastic for bottoms.

When I read the chapter on fabric in Sewing Activewear my mind was blown! It explained so much that I never could wrap my head around regarding the differences in the fabrics. This video version is highly valuable, too, and the list of vendors complete with links is priceless and so helpful. Thank you!

Wonderful video and leads, thank you! One fabric category I'm still hunting for is cooling, wicking knits that have good built-in sunscreen protection. SPF? UPF? The kind you could make into long gloves, leg covers, neck covers to avoid sun damage to skin. Any thoughts on sunscreen fabrics?

That's a great point! This is an area which I feel my own knowledge is a bit lacking, but I know that Rockywoods fabric in the US often sells these fabrics

In your book do you address making a pattern from a garment you already have?
