Not to be "that guy" - but in my experience these gifts are distributed frequently to the same way so that tongues has been one person's gift vs. prophecy being another's, etc. And Paul instructs us to eagerly desire the greater gifts, implying that these are gifts to be obtained in some form. Though I'll also admit that God works in random and mysterious ways, too, and have heard countless stories of the spontaneous display of God's power that don't well-match the specified gifts. Which I guess would just be a point of semantics, but not one that should be ignored.
I’ve definitely experienced access to more than one gift of the spirit at a time but I will say I don’t think it’s MY gift if that makes sense he gave me access for a specific purpose and I believe I could and would be given access again or to a new gift I haven’t experienced if necessary but the gift he has actually “assigned “ to me I have access to at all times if that makes sense
