I think I spent roughly 300+ tickets trying for Poppy. While hunting for her one day, on the 2nd ticket, I found Raymond. I decided to pass on getting him and 17 tickets later I got Poppy!

That's so lucky! Passing Raymond is hurtful because he is rare but the fact that you got your favourite character later on is some luck!

I just bought her amibo card because I thought I was very unlucky. This was before I found Whitney in 2 tickets, got Raymond in my campsite, got Audie in 47 tickets and got ankha in my campsite. And those campsite villagers was after I gave up on one and didn't care about at first for the other. Some other campsite highlights marshall, bob, Wolfgang (I got him again on an island after he never mentioned moving) Willow (it was hard not taking her but I probably should since I have anhka's card and could have moved her out for willow without loosing much) and I think that's it.

I once went like 400 tickets and I think I was looking for Ketchup. Never got her through villager hunting sadly, my friend got her to move off of their island and I took her.

I love Pekoe so much! I’m making a new japancore island that I started yesterday and Pekoe and June are on my list!
Same. But my luck with her isn't as great. I always find her when I can't take her. But, when I'm willing to take her, she doesn't show. My lastest hunt I was like ok, I'll take peokoe, Sylvania, willow, Julian or Jeremiah. None of them showed up. After I had an island filled with dreamies and unknown dreamies, willow happened to pop up. I regret it a bit because I could have let someone that I had a card for leave just in case I change my mind later.

I definitely enjoyed. You ended with a cutie. My longest was 312 and I took a half cute villager. I never wanted to hunt again after that.

I spent around 2k tickets to find filbert and around 600 to find ruby they took the longest. ..thankfully these days my villager hunting luck is a lot better

omg the other day i did an 80 ticket villager hunt looking for a frog but i rn out of tickets and time so i have to check what auuto filled one it gave me. 3 hours down the drain😩

This might be dumb but I'm the kind of person that will hunt for a villager that I already have an amiibo of. But my longest villager hunt was for Phoebe I don't have her amiibo and I think it was 250+ tickets bc I screwed up and let a plot autofill in the middle of searching for her or Ione so I had to wait for one of my old villagers to leave to continue ny hunt.
I love hunting villagers even if i have their amibo! its just more fun to find them your self! Its about the adventure!
