Greetings from Texas! My understanding is that the circle is done the same way as the start of a hat. [Note: If you don't want the seam to show, you can use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each row. No need to join or ch 1.] These instructions are a bit different than what's stated in the video, but you will end up with the same number of rows and stitch count.
Begin with a magic circle.
Abbr:
ch - chain
inc - increase
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
rep - repeat
R1: Work 7 sc in the ring. Sl st to join. (7 sc)
R2: Ch 1. Work 2 sc in each st. Join. (14 sc)
R3: Ch 1. Work [1 sc in the next st, inc in next st] Rep [ ] to the end. Join. (21 sc)
R4: Ch 1. Work [1 sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st] Rep [ ] to the end. Join (28 sc)
R5: Ch 1. Work [1 sc in next 3 sts, inc in next st] Rep [ ] to the end. Join. (35 sc)
R6: Ch 1. Work [1 sc in next 4 sts, inc in next st] Rep [ ] to the end. Join. (42 sc)
If you continue to follow the pattern, by the end of R15, you should have 105 sts.

Greetings from Texas! Not sure if anyone else was confused by the directions for the cover. So here are the written instructions I was able to decipher. You will work across in rows. Ch 1, turn at the end of each row.
R1: 7 sc across
R2: inc in first 2 sts, 3 sc, inc in last 2
R3: inc in first 2 sts, 3 sc, inc in next st, 3 sc, inc in last 2
R4: inc in first 2 sts, 12 sc, inc in last 2
R5: inc in first 2 sts, 8 sc, inc in next st, 7 sc, inc in last 2
R6: inc in first 2 sts, 21 sc, inc in last 2
R7: inc in 1st st, 13 sc, inc in next st, 13 sc, inc in last st
R8: inc in first st, 30 sc, inc in last st
R9: inc in first st, 15 sc, inc in next st, 16 sc, inc in last st
R10: 37 sc
R11: inc in first st, work 1 sc across until 1 st is left, inc in last st
R12: 1 sc across
Rows 13, 15, 17, 19, 21 - Repeat R11
Rows 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23 - Repeat R12
At the end of R23, you should have 49 sts. Then continue to follow video.

This is very nice, but the increase numbers at 12:54 of the video make no sense to me. I tried to make this bag, it worked out when working row 8: 2sc into very first stitch, then 1 sc into each of next 30 sts, then 2 sc into last stitch. In row 9: 2sc into very first st, 1 sc into each of next 15 sts, 2 sc into next st, 1sc each of next 16 sts, 2sc into last stitch. The next row: 2 sc into first , then 1sc into each of the next 35 sts, then 2sc into last st. “Each other row” I placed 2sc into the first stitch, 1 sc into each stitch up to the last, then 2 sc into last st.

Is the written pattern and the video exactly the same ?? Because in Round/line 6 as example it wrote. (2X,V:2X) but what I saw from video is (4X:V) ... I'm sorry still can't read pattern that will can someone help understand this point?! Thanks in advanced.

Hi.. i got lost on row 7,
What does this mean " v13"?
I know this is confusing to me and I want to make it because it's a really cute bag.. Several times when she says add a single crochet to each stitch, I see her putting 2 single crochet as in an increase this is especially true when she finishes the circle and starts on the other part. I guess it's going to take a sharp eye 2 see what she's doing but worth a shot since I'm not interested in all the granny square bags i keep seeing..

Is it me or the pattern is wrong?. First you said in 15th round to do 98 single crochet in total, without any increase. But then you say that after round 15th there should be 105 single crochet in total? How is there 7 more point after round 15th if there's no increase points in that round.
the whole pattern is múltiple of 7 if you divide 98 stitches in round 14 is equal to 7 stitches (98/14= 7) in the 15th round you are putting a 1 sc in each stitch no increases.
