Really love this song - however the verse melodies are lifted straight from Brand New's "You Wont Know" - not a bad thing, works really well here! The chorus is a masterpiece!
This is true…ish, Kohl is extremely inspired by brand new & the melody “ I wait wait wait for the moment and let the smoke clear”. Is a love letter to You wont know. Besides that the Melodie’s are different but created for fans of an indie metal genre. Great ear though, We have call backs and small Easter eggs for Brand new, Bring me the horizon & Death cab for Cutie in our music because those are kohls 3 favorite bands.

Check out break, shatter & bipolar you might like those as well! the goal for us as of late is to almost write like either Really experimental music with even hip hop elements, indie metalcore like this, or HEAVY AF typical but still fun to jam songs. Everyone loves a good heavy song in our opinion.
