Thank you Davud! I love Romania very much. I’ve already been there 2 times this year. I’ll be there again in September. I really liked the city of Brasov and Sinaia. It’s better to travel around Transylvania by car. Unforgettable serpentines in the mountains and adrenaline. I really liked your vlogs! I'm from Latvia.
Hi, Davud! The grandmother (Baba/Old Lady) from the front of the monastery indeed blessed you with good health (Sănătate), and strength (Putere) and told you "God be with you and help you" (Domnul să fie cu tine și să te ajute) - they are sayings/ways to bless someone, to wish them well, very respectful. Also, "Sărut-mâna" (I)kiss your hand = it's a polite way to thank in particular to a woman but it also can be used as a greeting when you meet a woman, your age or older (someone you have deeply respect for /formal way), but in Romania is used also by some people for men ( e.g. more common to address to a Priest or elderly men/grandfathers) and mostly is being used in more rural places, less common in big cities. Ways to greet in Romania: Bună dimineața (Good morning), Bună ziua (Good day) Bună seara (Good evening) Noapte bună (Good night), Hi is Salut/Bună - informal, Thank you (very much) = Mulțumesc (Mult), most used, Mersi like Merci in French, the short version of Mulțumesc, also informal, a more casual way to thank someone in particular you know very well (like a family, friend) or someone closer to your age, La revedere = Good bye or a simple Pa (or said doubled pa-pa) = Bye, informal. Hope it helps. Also the traditional blouse (named IE) you bought from Sinaia fits you nicely, you look amazing in it! A beautiful design that matches your beautiful personality. Great choice, enjoy it! I love you vlogging style, is very informative, relaxed and qualitative. Kudos for your English as well. But most, I love your energy, and your friendly approach to other people and their cultures. You are doing amazing, keep up the good job! Travel safely on all your journeys!
32:30 those were some very wise words, you can't go anywhere with negative energy expecting good energy in return, thumbs up Davud you're starting to be my favourite youtuber.
WOW! The Peles Castle hands down was the most beautiful place you’ve ever filmed. Stunning and breathtaking. Words cannot describe it. Thank you for bringing us there Davud!
It is small it is not so big as some others because the country is small, not a former empire, but the style and the architecture give you a nice impression.

Sinaia is named after Sinai Peninsula (Egypt). The town was "established" by a monk who visited a monastery from Sinai and opened its own also in that place... Sinaia.
Hey Davud, it's 5.55am eastern time here in South Florida and I'm about to watch your last video you released,so let's go bro. Have a wonderful Friday brother. This is Ashmeed Mohammed.
Thank you for being so kind, Davut! It's amazing to see people trying to find beauty in things that we're either used to or already accustomed to. I hope you enjoy our country. Stay safe!
Davud, you were correct about what the flower lady said. „Sărut mâna” = „I kiss your hand” (in respect!). „Domnul să-ți ajute!” = May God bless you! (literally it is „May God help you”... God be of help to you in everything, in that sense she meant)

Hi Davud! A little clarification for the moment you lit the candle. There are two areas, "for the living" and "for the sleeping". In the first you light for yourself or the person/persons you want to pray for, in the other for those who are no longer among us. And our (orthodoxic) belief is that there is no death, the physical body decomposes and re-enters the natural "circuit" of the planet, while the soul is eternal. That is why it is called asleep and not dead. God bless you, man!
Davud, Grandma' blessed you, but she didn't knew how blessed you are! I discovered one of your videos today, and this was the 3rd. You need no best wishes... You got the spirit!

You have a good eye for beautiful things 💜. The blouse you bought is really pretty, the shop keeper said it is sown by hand in Moldova ( the northern part of the country not The republic) he also said the material it's made from is "panza de casa"(house fabric) I wonder if that means it's also made with an old type of loom. And I think it's made out of Flax (Linum)
Love your video again as well as your reflections as you move through each place. I love the most how much respect you show and how you make the effort to speak with the locals. It’s really beautiful to see that. And on top of that, your pronunciation in Romanian seems to come with ease for you (slight correction for the word candle: it’s lumari with an “r” not a “j” but totally understandable no worries) Maybe you’re so good with pronunciation bc you are g well versed in languages and traveling places. Its a late built castle/palace, non medieval, in it's late construction phase it got to even be the first electrically illuminated castle in Europe if I remember this right.. I think in those later times nobody built castles as fortifications anymore, there were more modern defensive structures such as different types of Forts, Bastions or Star Forts (like the big one in Alba Iulia), eventually even those got outdated.
